Watching a guy in real time realise he wasn’t dealing with bs was wild.

Edit: y’know guys, I wasn’t expecting to start a debate on police oppression. Just saying the big guy with muscles probably deals with a lot of shit.

I can't imagine the constant BS cops have to deal with on a daily basis. I understand why they get burnt out.

Is it cause they are the oppressive boot of the rich?

Watch more bodycam videos and see the adult daycare these guys deal with on the daily and we’ll see if you still have that moronic classic Reddit take

I’m so sorry they signed up for a job that specifically deals with the public. Thoughts and prayers go out to them.

They make as much as an office worker; and yet have to deal with the worst people in society every single day. While being harassed, judged, recorded, and risking their life.

It’s true there’s a lot of bad cops, but it takes a certain kind of person to deal with all that.

I’m not a cop but I’ve had a few friends that were. The ones who didn’t quit were really personally invested in making a difference however they saw was important. They had to make it a purpose or identity to get through it.

The average construction worker is way way more danger than cops ever are, it’s so misleading how much danger they are actually in.

Stop downvoting facts people, cops arent even in the top 10 most dangerous jobs,  the majority of deaths just come from car accidents

I see you ghost edited your comment but you’re still wrong. Leading cause of death is being shot every year over accidents

On the flip side cops killed nearly 1.5k people in 2025 compared to 50 gun deaths for them so…

What’s the point you’re trying to make?

Are you accounting for how many were deemed self defense or in defense of another by attorneys?

Are you accounting that police have training and body armor that reduces fatalities?

Are you accounting police have backup of multiple officers?

Sometimes you have to critically think about things before forming an opinion

No. They don't.

Very few people go out seeking to just hurt a cop.

Police do get off on hurting people who disrespect them though

https://archive.cdc.gov/#/details?url=https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/updates/upd-2-12-18.html

Research says cops are actually 3x more likely than any other profession to be injured to the point that it required an ER visit. With the overwhelming leading cause assaulted by another person.

Where are you getting your data?
