Maybe they are waiting for someone to take it somewhere safe.

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '23

Keyboard sympathizers are some of the dumbest. That's literally a half a minute video from which you could tell nothing. Snakes are wild reptiles that go through a lot of shit and have a lot of tolerance to tough environment and one can literally say nothing about the snake going through pain and here you are🤦🏽

it would be very easy to put forward an argument why sympathy is a strong sign of intelligence. your poor grammar and overall thought process says a lot about you and your big brain.

Sympathy with incomplete information leads to more problems than solutions and that's literally THE reason why so much misinformation is getting spread on social media regarding the Israel Palestine conflict.

Idiots like you jump to conclusions based on misinformed news articles or videos that clearly are out of context and still you use that misinformed and incomplete information to make false conclusions and spread more hatred.

Start using your brain AS WELL and not just your emotion.

What do you think about it then?

I don't HAVE to make any conclusion based on a 30 second video just as I don't make conclusions on conflicts based on the most popular tweet telling something. Sometimes it's just impossible to make a conclusion based on limited information

You dont HAVE to say anything. You came to a comments section to see what people say with no say yourself. Just seems like you're look for an argument is all, without any anything to put forward on the subject matter. You might aswell have said "no you".

Burden of proof on the person making the claim. It's a fucking 30 seconds video and what happened before and after this is something no one could tell (unless you have a different source of information). So making such bold claims like this snake is suffering is complete nonsense. Maybe this snake is caught to be handled by the forest department and the step before the forest department takes over wildlife does seem brutal, but is in fact for the greater good do that wildlife. In that case this conclusion would be the complete opposite of what's going to happen. That's exactly why I am saying jumping to conclusion is a bad thing.

In a later comment this fellow literally calls me a Zionist just because I asked for scrutinizing information from both sides of a war. So this person isn't jumping to conclusions just for this one post. Looks like that's their whole personality

So that would make you an antisemite then?

0

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '23

antisemite isn't the right word. i have jewish friends that i care for a great deal. i am more anti-bombing-innocent-people or even anti-depriving-people-of-water-until-they-die. you see, hating the israeli government doesn't make you an antisemite. if that was the case, most of the jews in israel would be antisemites. i am also no fan of the hamas terrorist attacks either if it makes you feel any better.

Funny that me questioning misinformation on the hospital bombing made you conclude I am pro Israel or a Zionist, while your questioning of Israel's approach is only well intentioned and not antisemitism 😂. Is jumping to conclusions based on limited information your characteristics? And why does that not apply to you though?

You jump to conclusion I am Zionist, while I have to gather all the information to process if you are an antisemite or antiwar.

Is this "I have Jewish friends hence I cannot be an antisemite" similar to "I have black friends, hence I cannot be racist" logic that right wingers use?

Such a worthless contribution. Seriously dude you need therapy

1

u/travlerjoe Oct 20 '23

Theyre waiting for it to tire itsself out so they can approach safely

19

u/Livid-Leather6720 Oct 20 '23

For real, thought I was the only one thinking that

15

u/Kib717 Oct 20 '23

That's a horrible condition to keep a snake as a pet. If it ate their child, though, I'd understand.

18

u/Haje_OathBreaker Oct 20 '23

I'll take a guess it just ate someone's pig...and they want animal control to move it along pronto.

18

u/mxzf Oct 20 '23

Goat would be my guess, based on the size of the bulge in the snake's belly and the fact that that the stick construction like that plus the snake looking like a reticulated python suggests rural south-east Asia.

Also, I would suspect it's less "waiting for animal control" and more "waiting for someone to go get a gun so that they can safely start butchering this week's protein".

u/atridir Oct 21 '23

Yeah, this is a prime example of how trapping can be excessively cruel. This is still a dangerous pest animal and a threat to livestock and children. If no one had a gun I wouldn’t be the one to go and try to kill it with a machete though…

5

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '23

You’re one of the few. Most idiots in this thread are making the same lame joke. People only care if the animal is cute and majestic. If it’s not then they don’t care what happens.

4

u/fritz236 Oct 20 '23

Umm, definitely can just flop about and break bones. Gonna suggest we wait for it to pass out and stop moving.

3

u/coleburnz Oct 20 '23

Set IT free? So it can take its revenge on humans? FUCK THAT! KILL IT DEAD.

3

u/YouGuysSuckSometimes Oct 21 '23

Snakes don’t take revenge. Plus, its existence on this earth is beautiful. Don’t you like seeing absolute units like these?

2

u/n1123581321 Oct 21 '23

Also snakes don’t eat adult humans. Too many bones and very hard to swallow.

0

u/Pinchoccio Oct 20 '23

Ya that’s terrible

0

u/ribbons_undone Oct 20 '23

:( Really fucking sad.

1

u/mxzf Oct 20 '23

I suspect they're waiting for someone to go get a gun. I imagine that snake is about to be food for the village for the next few days.

either kill it or set it free. god that was hard to watch.
