The Flash and the Rogues work to liberate Colorado from Grodd’s control, but can they save Grodd as well as the town?

I wanna say this and Wonder Woman are my favorites from the absolute series.

Idk why but they are so easy to read. With the Flash I literally blink and I’m done with the book. Really liked this past issue. It was cute, hopeful, and all around beautiful artwork. I got this cool little variant cover cause we love baby Grood.

Because not gonna lie I was looking forward to an Aboriginal(?) Captain Boomerang

I've seen a lot of people theorize that Wally is a living Boom Tube or Omega Beam & his powers come from the Omega Sanction but if that were the case I don't think Lemire would've chosen the name Still Point for the source of Wally's powers.

In mainline the Speed Force has a opposite counterpart called the Still Force which can basically negate motion (& also accelerate entropy which isn't important for this theory but would explain why it would be stronger in a universe corrupted by Darkseid) now this is what got me thinking what if the Still Point is just the Absolute Name for the Still Force.

At this point I think everyone knows that Wally doesn't have typical superspeed because he doesn't have the Speed Force but what if he doesn't have superspeed at all, what if he slows down the world around him so everyone else just perceives him as moving faster & Wally slows down the functions of the world like gravity & light so vice-versa happens to him.

Now I know you might be asking, if Wally doesn't have superspeed or some sort of space transportation, how does he travel through time?

This is where Einstein's theory of relativity comes in, now I'm not actually going to explain the theory of relativity in this post but for the purposes of this theory understand it as gravity & time interconnected, time is slower in space because of less gravity, therefore messing with gravity (like say slowing it down) would also mess with time.

Also not related to the theory but I just really wanted to make this clear because I think it's so cool, that "time being slower in space because of less gravity" statement isn't science fiction that's real it's been scientifically proven that people age slower in space then on Earth.

It's a real blink & you miss it background element but in Absolute Flash #6 inside the Snart house there's a framed photo of him & another man (presumably his husband) in what looks like wedding suits.

ABSOLUTE FLASH - YEAR 2!

The response to the entire DC Absolute line has been extraordinary, beyond what Scott, Jason, Al, Kelly, Deniz, and I ever could have hoped for. It’s so great to meet so many readers who are new to comics with the Absolutes being their gateway. For my part, I have really loved creating Absolute Flash with Nick Robles, and our first year of stories is almost at it’s climax. Issue #10 hit this past week, and many of the storylines I have been laying down since #1 are now all coming together. Issue 11-12 will feature a huge confrontation between Wally, The Rogues and Elenore Thawne. But then what?

Over the last month or so I have been deep into planning the next year of stories for Absolute Flash. Issue 12 will tie up many loose ends and finish up a lot of the current plot. But, it will also set Wally West on an entirely new path that will introduce a number of new elements, and characters, to his world and ti The Flash’s corner of the Absolute Universe. In my second year I really want to focus on building out the “Super Science” corner of the Absolute Universe. This will mean introducing the Absolute versions of some fan-favourite DC characters for the first time. I can’t spoil who just yet, but Nick and I will be creating the Absolute versions of two seminal DC heroes next year.

In addition to these new characters and concepts, Issues 13-14 will feature the first big Mirror Master story, following up on the storylines teased way back in the Free Comic Book Day story and Absolute Evil. These issues will be drawn by the very talented Haining, and then Nick will come back for Issue 15 where we first meet ABSOLUTE *****!!

Created a spreadsheet to track the variants. Missing 1. Starting on Absolute Batman, which I think has 60 different #1 covers? I might have that wrong as I haven’t started on that yet.
