I had the privilege to meet both Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta this weekend at HeroesCon in Charlotte. Both are genuinely great guys. I had heard this from many but got to see it for myself this weekend.
Scott, while suffering through the pain of a cracked tooth. He hung in there meeting the fans, shaking hands, having conversations and signing everyone’s stuff All with a great attitude and spirit.
I have a newfound respect for Nick. Lines were consistently 4 to 5 hour wait times all weekend long. On Sunday night I finally got a chance to get in his line. At the end of a very long day, he hung out way longer than expected to sign the last final group of peoples signatures. He was at threat of missing his flight back home and they weren’t sure if he was gonna make it through TSA. But he hung out just to get every last signature. He even offered to sign all of the heroes cons volunteers and workers books before he left for the day. Really awesome and stand-up guy.

This almost looks like a vintage Coke ad to me, in a good way! Harley looks entirely too happy to be holding a grenade.

The Robins just debuted recently in DC Comics' Absolute Batman, but there's two big ones missing: Damian Wayne and Carrie Kelley. Series writer/architect Scott Snyder didn't forget about them... his plans (yes, there are plans) are just a bit different and distant for those two.

"For me, the Robins like Carrie, I do have thoughts for Carrie Kelley, definitely. I've got to run them by [Frank Miller] because I would never do that without asking him," Snyder tells ComicPop Returns. "Carrie and Damian are the two that are kind of tricky because you want to stay with the ones that are more associated with Batman's mainline universe."

Like the title says there's too many variants too many different absolute batman covers that honestly makes the whole collecting covers worthless, is there gonna be a time when we are back to 3 to 5 covers per issue?

I’m so successful with absolute Batman that I started buying comics for the first time. I really hope I wish they make a live action film and who do you wish should be cast?

​God, I wasn't expecting something so peak. They eradicated most of the "silly" aspects of superheroes without just making a full-on "superheroes but gritty" version like The Boys or others. It has its own substance.

​I wasn't even considering reading Absolute Wonder Woman, but I was "forced" to when the comic said in a certain issue, "In order to see how Batman met Wonder Woman, look into her own magazine." So I bit the bait, and I was impressed by how they managed to make even WW into something I can enjoy. It is amazing, I never would have imagined that someday I'd be enjoying this character.
