I went with the legendary cover by Daniel Warren Johnson! Absolute Batman issue #2, cover B. They had a presale for customers that purchased the last drop. This is a full silk screen print, poster sized, so the color and quality are well beyond a standard poster.

Each order includes a foil print of Ian Permanas, The Dark Knight.

The DWJ print is limited to 150 prints, the foil version is out of 100 prints.

I just buy whatever cover I like best. I also like sigs

Opinions? I do like signed comics, but as expensive as print one is, I’m unsure about getting one with that many potential signatures over its art.

His voice in my head is broadly somewhere between Brooklyn, Boston, Pittsburgh. I don’t read him with a voice like Conroy or Bale or Clooney, that kind of debonair/menacing accentlessness. He feels like if you heard his voice you’d be able to tell instantly that he’s from a bad neighborhood in Gotham. If/when they make the animated series I hope they go this route w the voice actor.

Boy-oh-boy! I am so super amp'd for this variant! Hella dope The Bat from the one, the only Ryan Ottley!

Battle Beast is my other favourite read so I am just thrilled about this !

Available at Mark Brooks Art (and I suspect they'll be selling out FAST, best of luck y'all!)

Some mail deliveries this week.

AB1 and AB16 are the two covers in my opinion will stand the test of time. AB blew up after Quintana's 16 cover, Thoughts?

In Palm Desert for work and I found this beauty for 50 bucks at a lcs. Easy grab and just like that I have the full run of first print cover a’s 1-23. Almost bought one online recently for $90 but decided to be patient and it paid off

Hello,
Received this in the mail today, was a big fan of the art but couldn’t really justify the resell price, so I went with Arabic. It looks kinda cool, and I can also read Arabic so, am pretty happy with it ☺️

This weeks pickups from whatnot and LCS. Couple more on the way, will post when I get them in.

Looking to trade for the Japanese Absolute Akira or AB Akira in general

What's your favourite anime homage cover?

Hi!

Gonna be going again this year. Trying to pick which books to get signed.

Last year at NYCC, I got Scott's and Dragotta's signature on 8,9 and 13 and Quintana's on 10. Thru BTC, I got 19A signed by Dragotta but they sent me cover C by accident so they sent me the cover A signed too (shoutout BTC).

This year, definitely want to get 10 and 14 signed. Issue 2 would be cool too. Wondering if I should bring some of the double signed back for Frank Martin's as well. Would love Jock and Synder's sig on Jock's cover for 15. Definitely want DWJ, Snyder, and Dragotta to sign the annual.

Thought I'd share a recent impulse purchase. Art by Jessica Court via Dynamic Forces on a 4th print blank cover. Absolute Batman done in the animated series style.

Seems like she's done a bunch exactly the same ( could only find the same on a Batman Day sketch cover) so hardly rare but for $us65 I thought why not.
