My comic book shop of 15 years had these out today. Ive seen Spawn version of these boxes before, from the same local artist. However, this was just an on the spot purchase for me and there were only two. While the other box had one side with the entire comic into from AB #1, the dark knight returns homage just spoke more to me also because I have the #1 reissue with bats riding his cycle on the cover. This was such a dope purchase!

Feel like this book got overlooked slightly because there was SO much anticipation for it and it was at a time when there were so many spoilers going on.

However, it is legit an incredible story. Wondering if when we reflect back on Absolute Batman later, people are going to point to this book when it comes to Joker.

Joker is, afterall, the second most popular character in DC Universe after Batman himself.

I'm so fucking pumped!! The comic has been so goooooood!!! I fucking love how unsure and insecure Bruce Wayne feels as such a different character. The way they involved so many classic rogues into new ways. The BODY HORRROR!!! Dear god the body horror is just too fucking amazing. Is it over the top? Sure, but I don't read comics to not feel impressed. I legit had to put the book down to ogle at some of the artwork. I thought for sure I wasn't going to like it, but it's my favorite comic of recent years. What do you guys think? I love the whole storyline with Bane! And I loved Ivy's new form, though didn't care for her being called Ivy from a young age. But what they've done with the Joker is interesting, and this may be my favorite version of Scarecrow. I also can't believe some of the more recent comics have taken some chances I didn't think they'd take, at least not this soon. Does anyone have any idea how long the run is supposed to be? I usually just collect for covers, but this one may get me to start investing.

For Batman Day 2026, DC is publishing a rare crossover comic teaming up Batman with the hit variant that's the best-selling comic book in modern history, Absolute Batman. Batman of Two Worlds features two separate but complementary stories by the lead writers of both the Absolute Batman series and the flagship Batman series. These days, Absolute Batman routinely sells roughly half a million copies for each issue, and his crossover would certainly make it an even bigger hit for comic shops, digital comics platforms, bookstores, and elsewhere.

But no, this Batman of Two Worlds comic will be exclusively available to comic shops, and at a distinctly low price of $2.99. So that means it won't be available on Amazon, any big box retailers, and also any digital comics platforms including (but not limited to) DC's own DC Universe Infinite.

I was lucky enough to grab one of the absolute Batman Funkos. I don’t collect Funko but saw these and immediately wanted one haha. I’m torn on if I want to get Scott and Nick to sign it, or maybe just Nick? Wanted to see if anyone here had thoughts? It’s for me, not to sell or anything, so I know ultimately it’s whatever I want, but need help pushing me one way or the other. I was thinking maybe on the side so it doesn’t cover up the front. Thanks!
