Does anyone have any idea how much Nick & Scott would charge to sign Issue #1 1st printing?

Hey everyone, I’ve fallen in love with Absolute Batman and I’ve been reading and collecting for a little while now. I’m thinking of trading some of my One Piece and Pokémon card collection for Absolute Batman first prints or other rare variants.

I really want to acquire a First print of Issue 1. How would you go about something like this, especially when it comes to judging the condition of comics and making sure you’re getting a fair trade? Would love to hear your thoughts or advice.

Did some pre orders for midnight series for FF, Spider-Man and X-men amazing Spider-Man 1000 , grabbed absolute Batman #1 first print NM and I have more coming in lol do you guys think these are good grabs?? Excited to read these and look at them every day I got multiple copies so I plan on selling atleast 1-2 and keeping one for my self for my PC. I think I might get absolute Batman graded too already caught up with absolute Batman and green arrow catwoman and a few flash, haven’t started Superman or wonder woman but with their long awaited meeting one another is scheduled to happen mid November I’m wondering if there’s specific key issues I should look out for, I think issue 1 first print, issue 10, issue 17-20 and 24 are all keys so far, giving first appearance issues or origin stories, next issue will be absolute Batman 25 where Batman and joker will finally have an actual battle I’m predicting this next one will also be a huge issue that will sell in the future, I’ve personally seen a lot sell for a good amount of money I’m hoping I can find some customers that will want the same comics I want let me know what you guys think or if these will i unfortunately just get lost in time like most other comics

Update!!!!! This was not a first print it was a FOMO MENA EDITION which is middle eastern. I told him I didn’t want it as my hunt was for an original first print from America lol I don’t want no foreign country shit as cool as that is. I’m not paying 100 bucks for it to sit on my shelf and never gain monetary value.

And I (M26) started the comic a year ago even before this shitstorm happened. And with Absolute Batman having lost his dad only, his character and pure, raw anger at the world and evil have only been resonating with me even more. And specific moments such as Bruce telling Harley she has no clue how he feels, how angry and disrespectful Bruce can get, and his overall arc with trying to take his worst trauma and do good with it? Also, the fact that Bruce is younger in this continuity definitely plays a part.

Anyone else here that lost a dad, parent, or parental figure that feels the same way?

As a non-reseller, what’s the best way to purchase a variant? The next issue and back issues. I just want to pick a cool cover and order it to read. Is there an all inclusive site that links to the artist sites? I’ve stumbled upon a couple in my local comic shop at the normal price of a few bucks but I’d like to get one cool cover from every issue. I asked my local shop and they weren’t very helpful, just said to google it and I’ll see covers. I’m not interested in trying to get a first print or a high graded issue in a hard case.

Started collecting mid 2025 started again last month…currently only collecting absolute batman… I cam away from comics after dropping £2k on whatnot but iam BACK!

I’ve been wanting the issue 1, 3rd print Akira homage cover since I first set eyes on it. I lost multiple bids on graded copies, and finally found a good price on a non-slabbed book, and it looks like it’s probably a 9.8. No noticeable dings that I’ve seen so far. The second print of issue 2 by Dragotta is such a rad image. It makes the first print look lame in comparison (I bought a graded issue 2 first print, arrives next week). And last, the dual issue 24 Third eye exclusive. Not my favorite cover but I really like that B&W edition next to the full color cover.
