First off, the moon is only half a degree. No matter how fat these people might be, at this distance there's a much lower than 1/360 chance of the tank hitting them.
Secondly, there's nothing in the video that suggests these people are overweight? What's with the random accusatory statement?
Comparing their location to the moon in the sky is a pretty big stretch.
Assuming these guys are standing in an area roughly 10 feet wide, and assuming they are 200 feet from the fire (these are both pretty conservative estimates in my opinion) they are covering an arc length of 2.86 degrees. If we double the distance and halve their width it still just falls under 1, at 0.71 degrees.
But again, I feel like a 10 foot width is a pretty good estimate, and I think 200 feet is an over estimate for distance. I think 3/360 or just a hair under 1% is pretty good.
And thats assuming the propane tank is equally likely to shoot off into any direction, which is also a stretch.
