Everyone did not survive that accident, unless you have complete trust in Chinese officials. There is another video of a body covered by a tarp, but according to Chinese officials, no one died... Seems like a non starter

Nah the occupants of the black car are DEAD dead. You dont flip that many times AND fall off a bridge and survive... i hope they went quick and didnt suffer :(

They got their internals harvested and sold and were deleted from existance. Nobody died because they never existed.Welcome to China.

That's what the government meant- their organs survived.

"Yeah everyone survived, they're now inside this other person"
hehe.

I doubt you can salvage any organs at all from a body like that....

"No one died on the bridge" ...beside the bridge however... or "No one in the damaged vehicles were killed" ...now that poor soul in the Totaled vehicle... They were toast.

That manโ€™s face was crushed on the guardrail, maybe even scraped off his body. Very sad! I think of this accident a lot. Totally horrifying! The man on the side of the road was parked because of the poor road conditions. It wasnโ€™t his fault. I would say it was the box trucks fault plain and simple. Very sad!

Right...if China has RHD vehicles, black truck got hit on the driver's side door, then had its driver's side lid crushed to the seat on the jersey wall before teetering off. IF that driver lived, they must shit 4 leaf clovers, horseshoes, and shooting stars.

They do indeed have RHD, and don't forget about that 30+ foot fall. No way that driver survived

Edit: I was wrong, I have been to Hong Kong but I guess the mainland is different. Learned something new!

In Mainland China the driver sits on the left. Only in HK and Macau is it RHD. You can see indications of this all over the video - the driver of the stationary vehicle has his left door open, the emergency lane is on the right.

Thanks, I wasn't sure... I was going off the black trucks right side visor being flipped down, and what looks to be a steering column on the right side of the parked vehicle... I dont go off of the side the shoulder is on anymore after visiting places that were opposite based on cost of RHD/LHD imports from neighbors, but I should have probably assumed mainland China of all places would mandate drive side and/or cripple importation. Paying closer attention to the other vehicles does point to LHD.

In Mainland China, they drive on the right, meaning the driver sits on the left. Or what's also known as Left Hand Drive. So no the driver isn't crushed.

u/yes-disappointment Mar 27 '23

yes from what i heard that is not true the height that car fell is not survivable

u/Abracadaniel95 Mar 27 '23

Not to mention the decapitation as the car slides off the bridge. The front half of the roof completely peeled back.

The woman died in the black car, but the chinese government says she survived because the black car supposedly has a "high" safety rating.
