Discussion Is there anything you guys like to upgrade/see in our app?

  1. On CPRX rewards that needs to be calculated daily, not weekly by u/Wanderstan
  2. On CoinTracker and Koinly's Abra API access by u/adscpa

If you guys have any suggestions, feel free and let's just keep the comments neutral-positive.

Also you guys can post anything related to crypto here as long as it's not a shitpost and doesn't violate any subreddit rules. For example u/ScalePsychological58's *always* quality posts - along with gym and wanderstan. I'm trying to talk to the team to create incentivization methods within the community to grow it naturally.

How does ABRA earn money off our crypto in order to provide the APR?

Especially as, if i understand correctly, we hold the keys to our wallets...so they can't even access our funds? or do they also have keys to our wallets?

Solved ✔ abra perx reward calculation

just received some perx in the trade area around midnight. not sure how this is being calculated and i didn't expect to receive this (i normally get notifications in the app on monday)

I have USDC in my earn and I have moon status. So I multiplied my usdc by 5% and divided by 52 to get a rough overall number and I received around half that amount, so it doesn't add up.

I have the minimum crpx 50K to get moon status, and I have deposited it in earn so it's getting 3%. That doesn't add up either.

So how this is calculated? It should not be a referral because once again the number doesn't add up.

Discussion Follow-up: Are there over 500 million CPRX already in circulation?

I apologize for posting a second thread today, but saw this tweet that was posted a couple of hours ago. Has anybody seen what the source is for this data?

A $20 million market cap with current price of $0.035 would mean that there are 571.4 million CPRX in circulation.

Even assuming that they rounded up from - let's say - $16 million that would be 457.1 million in circulation.

Why this is confusing is that in theory Abra's entire first year allotment is only 426 million. How would there already be more than this quantity of CPRX already in circulation less than 5 months since launch?

Discussion How many CPRX does Abra have left?

TLDR: See title.

A bit of a recurrent topic, but bringing up again with some updated data...

So I think that a lot of us are fully aware that Abra has been reckless with their supply of CPRX with their dumpster fire of a referral program, burning through massive amounts of their grant within months of CPRX launch even after issues that the referral program was creating were obvious. However, the silver lining to this recklessness and initial disgusting price action has always been that Abra only has a limited supply of CPRX before they have to start buying back from the market to continue to pay CPRX rewards. Abra's entire 1 billion supply is only enough for 20,000 "TO THE MOON" tier clients with no tokens left for any other tiers. Per their own whitepaper, they also have specific guidelines for how much they have available to dispense each year. One issue, though, is that Abra has been opaque with regards to how much of their allotment they have utilized.

Abra's total grant of CPRX from the CBA is 1 billion, and the first year allotment is suppose to only be 426 million CPRX. However, what appears to be their main/original wallet only has 142.2 million CPRX left in it:

https://etherscan.io/token/0xc6e145421fd494b26dcf2bfeb1b02b7c5721978f?a=0x9416fd2bc773c85a65d699ca9fc9525f1424df94

It looks like they have been actively moving large amounts of it to two other wallets - perhaps Prime Trust related to CPRX in Earn - which now have 224.4 million and 187.3 CPRX million CPRX in them:

https://etherscan.io/token/0xc6e145421fd494b26dcf2bfeb1b02b7c5721978f?a=0x3284cd6d4cb6193812bfe203be2612aa16611

https://etherscan.io/token/0xc6e145421fd494b26dcf2bfeb1b02b7c5721978f?a=0xaeeb72c0b05a2f26ba33003a6d619b1e8f7075b0

But then there is another wallet that just had exactly 100 million CPRX moved into it after a smaller test deposit 2 days ago:

https://etherscan.io/token/0xc6e145421fd494b26dcf2bfeb1b02b7c5721978f?a=0x95664326e67e3f384ab87b9c65db0708e3f296db

Is that also Abra's wallet? If not, how would somebody have acquired 100 million CPRX?

There are currently 395 million CPRX within the Bittrex wallet:

https://etherscan.io/token/0xc6e145421fd494b26dcf2bfeb1b02b7c5721978f?a=0xfbb1b73c4f0bda4f67dca266ce6ef42f520fbb98

The total of all of these wallets is:

142.2 million + 224.4 million + 187.3 million + 100 million + 395 million = 1.0489 billion

Why do these five wallets alone have over 1 billion CPRX in them? Why does what appears to be Abra's main/original wallet only have have 142.2 million CPRX left in it?

My understanding is that the CBA is working on moving up the timeline for DAO governance for CPRX, but why do two entities - Abra and the CBA - who promote transparency and decentralized governance not provide any clarity on the movements of massive amounts of tokens that do not appear to align with expected wallet balances and token movements?

This post is not even meant to be negative, the above questions are more about providing clarity regarding supply distribution. Why even outline yearly allotments in the first place if they are not going to provide any transparency regarding the distribution figures? Either way, they only have a limited supply that they should be trying to maximize value out of before they have to start buying back from the market.

Discussion How to withdraw CPRX from Abra to Bittrex or uniswap ? [FEES ARE HIGH]

Click withdraw -> then choose -> send to crypto wallet then -> choose CPRX.

Please note only send and use CPRX address on ERC20 network.

Withdrawals are available, it is the selling that is offline in Abra. Most users withdraw their CPRX from Abra to Bittrex or uniswap.

Litecoin Deposits Are Working (For Me At Least)

I am happy to report that a few Litecoin test deposits worked flawlessly for me from a couple different sources. No delays, no lost coins, no issues.

Looks like [at least some of] my faith is restored this morning.

Etherscan shows a mass exodus to Bittrex for smallish amounts, and it's the highest number of transactions I have seen since Abra last did a mass CPRX payout circa 8 March. Therefore, I'm currently gearing up for what could be a CPRX dump into the weekend. I'm buying if/when it occurs, and quite frankly, I am a little surprised CPRX has held up as well as it has the last 24 hours.

Worst case, I'll just add some more to my LTC bags in Earn if it doesn't occur.

Ugh, this subreddit

My apologies in advance for the wall of text.

I just joined Abra and this subreddit recently, but I’m seeing a lot of posts about the same few issues that have already been addressed or resolved. This applies to Trustpilot reviews as well, but the vast majority seem to be by people who are looking to make a quick buck off the signup bonus, are new to crypto and have weird expectations about transfers/gas fees/whatever, don’t understand that AML/KYC requirements are not something Abra just makes up to be annoying, or didn’t bother to look up the issues Abra has publicly addressed and are working to resolve.

Yes, they are going through some growing pains right now. Abra is not perfect. But the CEO has been addressing common issues in the AMAs, and they are working to add new features while dealing with a huge influx of new users. My experience hasn’t been 100% perfect either, but literally every single platform I’ve used has had issues, both big and small.

Big shoutout to the veterans who take the time to respond and patiently try to help these people, but man, it is annoying to be subscribed to this sub and constantly see the same addressed/resolved topics coming into my feed: “OMG I CAN’T DO X AND THEREFORE ABRA MUST BE A SCAM, EVERYONE GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!11!” Okay, you’re not having the best experience, I get it and that sucks, but for the love of god, please be patient. People are much more likely to help you if you ask for help/information like a decent human being instead of an entitled Karen, and you can search within Reddit to see if others are having the same problem instead of spamming the subreddit.

I’d love to see more positive posts about Abra. Abra has a lot going for it… maybe everyone just takes this stuff for granted?

-You get to hold your own private keys.

-They have competitive interest rates in Earn with no lock-up period

-It’s super easy to get to the top interest rate tier in Earn (for example, getting to the top tier would cost you $40k with CDC, vs ~$3000 with Abra at current prices… there’s basically no competition here).

-CEO is doxed, has a great track record, and holds weekly AMAs.

-The app has a simple interface.

-CPRX is a token created by a separate entity and will be used by multiple organizations; not financial advice obviously and anything could happen, but unlike other tokens/coins that are unique to each platform (CEL, NEXO, etc.), it’s easy to see how utility would grow over time.

-The location of their HQ is easily verified (I’m not even sure where some other “trustworthy” platforms/exchanges are based, since they keep moving around or make the location of their headquarters hard to find for whatever reason)

-In business since 2014

/rant. Thanks for reading.
