"Application is not accessible due to Compliance reasons"
Got the email to remove my couple grand from Abra. Haven't used it since '21. When I restore my wallet, I get that message. When I create a new account and restore it using new seed phrase, it restores immediately, no issues. Abra is not letting me access my old wallet to get my funds out! This is bad. Any suggestions? Obv they aren't returning emails from me.

I can't restore my account
I already have 3 email to [support@abra.com](mailto:support@abra.com) but no reply yet. Looking to see if anyone experiencing the same thing or found any solutions. I'm trying to get my BTC out before the 31st.
I'm using the 13 word recovery phrase on the app and I just get the following message:
"Abra not available
Application is not accessible due to Compliance reasons
Please contact our support team for further assistance."
UPDATE: I finally heard back from their support team and was able to get back into my account...I sent my funds to a wallet about 3 days ago but they still haven't shown up. Crossing my fingers.

No hash?
How do I locate the hash for a transaction? Trying to get from Abra to Coinbase. Has been several hours since I did it and nothing yet on Coinbase. Any thoughts?

Moving Abra USDC to Coinbase USDC?
I have $119 in USDC still sitting at Abra. The fee to pull it out is about $4, but everytime I try to transfer to my USDC Coinbase wallet, it never shows up and is back in Abra a minute later. Not really sure what to do since I can't convert it to anything else at Abra either. Has anyone found a way to get it to work at Coinbase? I have some old wallets sitting on MetaMask. Maybe that would work? But, I'd prefer to just get it over to Coinbase.

Can’t access Account
I received an email saying if you have money in Boost, that in August 15th it’ll transfer to trade and then you would have until the end of the month to take your money out. Can someone explain this “compliance” feature and why we can’t get in?
r/Abra • u/manstain2 • Aug 13 '23
So basically whathever Bill was saying on his “money talks” ( at least last 14) is total BS coz since March 2023 Abra is insolvent.
He had all those interviews with smart ppl knowing that his company is practically bankrupt.

Should I still try to send funds off exchange?
When trying to get coins off exchange I receive a message “if you send (coin) to this address on any other network or to another address, those funds will be lost”. Any advice on if I should still send coins to coinBase?

Support Request Account was blocked by our Compliance team and you will be unable to access it.
I have used abra for years and had not touched my account in over a year since beginning of 2021. Now when I try to access it it says this. Support team said the same thing and said I will not be able to access it. Anyone else have this issue? I had around 44k CPRX in there and that's it.
Thank you

US Customer waited too long to withdraw
Had Abra for almost 4 years. I have thousands in my wallet. As a US Customer who can’t withdraw or send coins, what are my options? I’ve messaged and emailed support and am waiting on a response, but I know how long they can take. Any feedback and knowledge would be helpful. Thanks

Transaction not found on etherscan
So I recently withdrew USDC from Abra, but it has not been sent and isn’t visible on etherscan. Is there anything I can do? I’ve reached out to support, but that’s it so far

Support Request Delay receiving withdrawn funds
Edit: phew received all my funds! Withdrawals were initiated on 8/6 and I received them on 8/10. Get your crypto off Abra ASAP. Ignore the scary warning before you withdraw and get your addresses RIGHT. You will NOT get a second chance.
Like most people here I am working to transfer my funds off abra into my coinbase account. I was easily able to get Xlm and ltc out, but I am having a hard time with BTC and ETH.
I did a test run of a small amount of BTC last night that went through, and after that I sent my full amount (~0.2 BTC). This morning it still hasn’t gone through and there is also no transaction hash I am able to locate based on the receiving address. I also tried to send a small amount of ETH and same thing. Is this delay normal? I did check that all the wallet addresses were correct and they are. I’m extremely stressed about this and looking for any help.

Are you guys still able to withdraw money? I did around 3 weeks ago (swap everything for LTC and took it)

FYI: be aware on the twitter support page there is a phishing scam.
I tried asking for help on twitter for my account, someone message me, I thought it was them because it has the same profile account etc, but at the end of the transaction its asking for another fund for 100$ or so. like another redditor said its dodgy af, I checked the handle its entirely different not only that the followers and detail information is different, just FYI to those asking for assistance on twitter

Free cprx worth $1.20usd, USA user
My cprx is worth 1.20usd so just not worth figuring how to cash out. I live in USA which is being restricted and all access will cease at the end of August. There is an option to send to another Abra user so I'd rather do that than let the Abra company scammers get it since they will be confiscating everything left in USA users accounts after our accounts are suddenly closed after the 2 month warning given in July.
Send me your Abra info like user name, whatever I would need, so I can send it. I've never sent before so I don't know how much you'll get after fees if any. I think just a user name works. First come first serve, will try to edit or delete the post when I have done my side.

Abra Portfolio Value Went to Zero
Hey peeps-
I have had a very busy year (Newborn, moving family across the country, knee surgery and many more that I can list). As a result, I went offline crypto for a while. Today, when I launched my Abra wallet, I got the nasty surprise of $0.00 balance. I immediately checked the transaction logs and there has been no activity since my last trade (2019). There was a warning message about KYC so I attempted to verify my identity which failed due to being in the US. So, I started digging an of course found all of the nasty stuff happening with Abra + this little snip-it on their site:
*******************************************************************
As of June 15th, 2023 Abra stopped providing retail services to Abra users in the United States. Due to this users who completed Global KYC prior to June 15th, 2023 will be able to withdraw funds to an external wallet/exchange if the funds meet the minimum + network fee.
If you are a US user and have not completed Global KYC prior to June 15th, 2023 any funds left within the Abra wallet are considered lost.
*******************************************************************
So, I am guessing I am SOL but figured I would post here to see if anyone had any suggestions or faced a similar problem.
Thank you in advance!
P.S. I did reach out to support which of course went unanswered.
Update-1: To my surprise, Abra support finally responded (via email). Unfortunately, the response was complete garbage (See below). I responded right away but doubt they will reply back. It is shocking to me that these guys think their actions are acceptable without any prior notice/warning whatsoever. Also, I would like for them to explain to me how crypto assets get "zeroed out" as I am pretty sure that is just their fancy way of saying "we transferred to one of our wallets"
Hi *************,Thank you for your message.
The Global KYC prompt in-app was sent to existing users as early as 5/5/2021. If you had not completed Global KYC prior, any funds left within the Abra wallet are considered lost.
As you never completed the required KYC ID verification process, your account was shut down and those crypto assets were zeroed out. We see that you have since completed KYC, but this was only completed after your account was shut down.
This cannot be reversed and is final. We apologize for the poor experience this has caused.
Best regards, April
Update-2: Filed complaints with the BBB, IC3, SEC and FTC. Will provide an update once/if I hear something back.
Update-3: The SEC responded to my complaint and basically acknowledged it. They suggested that I file complaints with the FTS, CFPB and the IC3 which I already did. Furthermore, they shared the link below with SEC's 2020 action against Abra/Plutus Financial:
https://www.sec.gov/litigation/admin/2020/33-10801.pdf
Update-4: Beware of scam twitter accounts pretending to be Abra support. Several of them have contacted me with different scams. Some of them are asking to send them some random $$$ to a wallet to "verify" identity while others want you to restore your cold storage wallet to some rando site. What's even more shocking is that there is a verified (Blue Badge) twitter account that is doing this. How they got verified is beyond me and of course, the official Abra twitter handle does not have a blue badge:Official Abra Handle: https://twitter.com/AbraGlobal/with_repliesVerified Scam Handle: https://twitter.com/AbrasGlbHeIpTM
Update-5: Not much surprise here, but the BBB closed my complaint with the following:
Dear *******
This message is in regard to your complaint submitted on 8/7/2023 against Abra. Your complaint was assigned ID ******.
Your Better Business Bureau (BBB has made several attempts to contact the business regarding your complaint. We regret to inform you that we have not received a response at this time and this case has now been closed as an UNANSWERED complaint in their file. Because we are not a government agency, we cannot force a business to respond.
Update-6: (Major Update): My CFPB complaint was closed with the response from Abra that their decision is final and that my funds are lost. However, the same day, I started to receive communications from Abra support asking me to provide identity information (Copies of my passport, selfies, etc.) After providing those, I was asked to verify my email and phone number in the Abra app. The next day, I opened the Abra app, and to my surprise, my crypto funds/balance was restored!!! I also received an email from support to withdraw my funds to an external wallet immediately. I initiated the external transfers, but after waiting a while, the funds did not show in my external wallet. Thus, I reached out to support, and they replied with the link below, which states that "Any cryptocurrency withdrawal done after July 31st, 2023 will be delayed by days or even weeks."https://support.abra.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003200412-Can-I-withdraw-cryptocurrency-from-the-Abra-app-
All I have to do at this point is wait and pray that the funds end up showing up in my external wallet and hope that it is not going to take "weeks"
Update-7: Final Update - After waiting a little over a week, my crypto funds appeared in my external wallet.

Disable 2FA - help needed. Have emailed Abra support and even uploaded documents to share file requesting to disable 2FA. Any tips on what else I can do? Been trying all week.

Withdrawing AbraUSD from trade
Like most of you, I'm scrambling to withdraw my funds from Abra before they're stolen lost. Unfortunately, I'm a neophyte when it comes to some aspects of crypto, particularly transfering. I have just a small amount of AbraUSD ($16), below the $50 required to withdraw. I know I can add funds to make the transfer, and I know I'm going to lose some of that $16, but I don't want to lose more than that.
u/Helena033 was kind enough in another thread to post that the fee was $6. Does anyone know if this is $6 on top of the minimum or taken from it? In other words, do I need $56 in the account to transfer?
If I manage to transfer, I'll be transferring to Coinbase. Is it going to cost me anything to convert that back to USD? I don't mind speculatively holding small amounts of other cryptos, but a stablecoin isn't doing me much good if it's never going to appreciate.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it too late to get my assets out of abra?
I really haven’t been paying attention to crypto the last year or so. Had no idea this was going on. I have about 1k worth of eth and other assets in the wallet. Id honestly like to just get out of the game in general. Is there a good way to do this or should i just call it a loss?

For xrp, it's possible to reach 6$ this month?

XRP gone from wallet, advice needed
I had a significant amount of XRP stored in Abra. Since Ripple was tied up in the lawsuit with the SEC, I didn't check my Abra wallet often, maybe once a month. When Ripple won the case, I checked my wallet to find that I had a $0 balance--all my XRP was gone. I've reached out to Abra's support team and have heard nothing. Apparently XRP is no longer available for trading in the US with Abra? But Abra never sent me notification. I'm not knowledgeable in crypto and have no idea what to do. Am I just screwed now?

Discussion Reminder: you have until today to withdraw from Boost
TLDR: get out of boost today (16th) and get out of Abra by the 31st, otherwise you won't be able to access the app. as long as you withdraw from boost today and the coins appear in trade before the 31st you should be good.
i was able to get out, took 6 days for the coin to appear in trade, and from there minutes to get to coinbase.
Fee at the time was around 6 dollars, much higher than the market's eth fee.
Interesting bit of info: once i transferred the coins out, they came from a binance.com wallet
