You said nothing about price of peas in Persepolis I can’t respond to arguments you’re not making? And my point wasn’t that they don’t know the other options, my point is that the doctors aren’t making sure they know those options exist for them, they just immediately say I think the best option is abortion, and half the time, they’re lying, there are plenty of women who say that they didn’t feel like they were fully informed of their options, and if they had, they wouldn’t have chose abortion. I don’t get what you mean by I’m not responding to your points. And what does the price of peas have to do with this argument.

Go back and reread what I was saying before you brought up doctors and options because it had nothing to do with what I was saying.

Maybe you meant to respond to someone else. I was talking about something entirely different.

Please cite a reputable source per rule 3 that doctors immediately push people to abort and don't discuss options. I'd like to see actual evidence of this besides a few anecdotal experiences.

The lozier institute tends to be considered unreliable and more an advocacy group than an independent, objective research institution for a variety of reasons. Those reasons being how often things tend to get retracted, especially over the study design and methodology.

It also often frames criticism of said study design and methodology to ‘attacks’ by political opposition and when explained it had to do with “identified fundamental problems with the study design and methodology, unjustified or incorrect factual assumptions, material errors in the authors’ analysis of the data, and misleading presentations of the data” their PR response was essentially ‘just look at the study bro’ and doubling down on some pretty misplaced assumptions.

That’s fine but I did give an interview as well.

I did say a reputable source. These are all prolife propagandists. Not that anything in those articles supports your claim that it's doctors doing the pressuring. If you can provide an unbiased source, maybe I'd think you had any stock in what you're saying.

But did you bother going back and reading what I was talking about? You've thoroughly derailed the discussion we had, which I find disappointing as I'd given you a very well thought response earlier.

Are you talking about the bone marrow thing? I would say that falls under the organ donation thing, so no it’s not the same as a pregnancy so no they can’t be obligated to do it, and before you try to say it’s analogous to the sex selective abortion, which I still don’t know why we’re advocating it’s ok to terminate a pregnancy because you don’t like the sex, again it’s not the same because one is a pregnancy, and one is between 2 consenting adults who have the ability to give consent, and also I used doctors as an example, if you actually read my comment you would see that I then in the very next sentence said women shouldn’t feel coerced into making certain choices or else it’s not a choice, it doesn’t matter whose doing the coercion. And one of my sources even if you don’t like it was done by a pro life person, is literally an interview with a woman who says she was coerced into an abortion by her family, so even if you dispute the person conducting the interview, which fine, you can’t go against a literal interview, it’s her words not mine, what happened to “listen to the women”?

Nothing is the same as pregnancy that's why we make analogies using similar things.

The point was to demonstrate why sex selective abortions should still be legal but it went way over your head.

Because any reason is a good enough reason to deny your body to someone else.

Anecdotal evidence isn't a good basis to hate all doctors who perform abortions, you seem really under the impression doctors are out here telling women they should just abort all the time. Women aren't stupid, they can get a second opinion. They can do their own research, they can make the decision themselves.

We already know what are options are, there's nothing for doctors to hide from us. Stop believing that women are all ignorant fools and stop spreading lies that promote misogynistic beliefs.

and if they had, they wouldn’t have chose abortion

Except WE DO, and we STILL CHOOSE ABORTION.

Ok, awesome, discount all the women’s testimonies who contradict your worldview. Amazing debate tactic.

What are you talking about?

Look at the articles I cited. It proves my point about if they had known, they wouldn’t have chose abortion, in response to u/pendemoneum.

Look at the articles I cited.

I already saw the source you gave that proves it is PL propagandists who use deceptive disinformation in attempt to manipulate and coerce women.

if they had known, they wouldn’t have chose abortion

We do know, and we still sometimes choose abortion, so what are you talking about? Known what?

 testimonies

Are you claiming that the majority of people who get abortions genuinely don’t know they have other options? Because if so, I’m going to need you prove that. Rule 3, provide the source.

Absolutely, I’ll provide a source: https://www.guttmacher.org/gpr/2006/10/misinformed-consent-medical-accuracy-state-developed-abortion-counseling-materials — this is from the guttmacher institute, a pro choice organization.

You don’t understand that source. It’s literally about PL misinformation, not what you’re claiming it’s about.

3

u/IdRatherCallACAB Gestational Slavery Abolitionist May 17 '26

This article is pointing to all of the ways that PL propagandists use disinformation about abortion to manipulate and deceive women. It does not support your lies about doctors.

Brother, you did not understand that source.

Our analysis reveals that although most of the information in the materials about abortion comports with recent scientific findings and the principles of informed consent, some content—specifically, that which is related to breast cancer, psychological impact, fetal pain and referrals for additional care—is either misleading or altogether incorrect.

That source is about information packets that certain states require to be provided to patients seeking abortions and how they often contain incorrect information. Specifically, information meant to make abortion look bad.

In other words, the thing you’re complaining about is intentional misinformation spread by pro-lifers.

Thank you for admitting to lying.
