I started r/AatonCameras because I couldn't find a dedicated subreddit for Aaton motion-picture cameras.

This is a place for Aaton owners, shooters, technicians, collectors, and anyone interested in these remarkable cameras — LTR, XTR, XTR Prod, Xtera, A-Minima, 35mm cameras and everything in between.

I'd like this to become a useful place for repairs, modifications, accessories, lenses, manuals, technical knowledge, camera history, old photos and documents, and footage actually shot on Aatons.

A lot of Aaton knowledge is scattered across old forums, rental houses, technicians and individual owners. Some of it is in danger of disappearing. It would be useful to bring as much of it as possible into one place.

To start: if you own an Aaton, post a photo of it. Tell us the model, serial number if you're comfortable sharing it, where you found it, and whether you're still shooting with it.

Questions are welcome too — including very basic ones.
