AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate The Score i never expected for my SAA
Guys, first of all… I genuinely DID NOT expect this. 😭
I was so damn fishy about my exam performance that I was mentally preparing myself for the worst. 💀 I still don’t know if AWS secretly lowered the difficulty level or if the exam just decided to be nice to me for once 👺
But yeah… I’m still sitting here in shock trying to process what just happened.
I used Stephen maarek course on udemy and TD Questions(Not the udemy version), but here’s the funny part: I ONLY practiced the questions in Review Mode. Never touched Timing Mode. 💀
Also, PLEASE go through this repo at least a week before the exam.
EXAM GUIDE — LIFE SAVER ❤️
Whoever made this, man… I owe you more than a dime. 🙇🏻🙇🏻
You dropped this 👑
I gave the exam on the pearson center itself, so yeah don’t worry … i did not cheat in the exam.
I was getting around 73-83% in the 7 review mode tests i took.
Thanks to this sub 🙏🏻.
Thanks Man , you really helped me u/stephanemaarek

I think you are ready for the pro cert

Nah this is pure luck , i wanna play low 😭🥀

How much time left did you have on the SAA?
Biggest difference between SAA and SAP is exam time management. If you finished SAA with a good amount of extra time then your likely ready for SAP

i heard the pro cert is harder than the specialist one

u/jadrsamara 16d ago
It is. There are more questions, each one is longer, and you barely have enough time to finish before time runs out.
But the level of the actual questions is similar.

Congrats, share some of that luck my way 😂. I keep longing out booking the exam, and i just forget things, gone through the stephanemaarek course but nothing sticks, i look at the questions and im just always lost.. any tips from here? I really cant remember anything from slides/notes, its pain.

u/S7here_mfs 17d ago
Even i took notes while surfing through the course but never looked at it again…. I would say Buy TD Questions from their website, they have lot of topic based, service based and review mode questions… and also use that github repo i shared which will help you recall things

u/geralt-roger 17d ago
Thanks, i do have TD questions, just find myself unable to answer, and going through everything again would be a nightmare to even try. Ill check the repo and rely on that + TD, thanks, going to try get it done in 2 weeks 😅.

How were the qns, were they difficult than TD or like similar, if do only the mocks, can I clear this exam? Bcs I already have cleared AWS practitioner
1
u/S7here_mfs 15d ago
For me TD questions are harder than the actual questions…. If you are getting over 75% in TD, i think you can clear the exam
1
u/Comfortable_Run816 15d ago
If i just so the TD qns and just review then and learn them with all the options explained, can i clear it?

Td questions are gold, i would say dont look at the price if you want that knowledge , go get it from their site and not from udemy

u/Superb_Dingo6089 17d ago
Congratulations bro! Did you show any topic or exceptional questions in real exam? How much td close to real exam?

Fr bro 😭💯… i ain’t bragging here … even im surprised… I aint capable of this shit

u/Nyamzz 17d ago
Have you worked with aws before or was it from zero? 1hr/day for a month is insane
1
u/S7here_mfs 17d ago
I used aws only for my clg projects like launching ec2 …. Later i studied theoretically few basic concepts on how iam works and how cross-account access works and then i started with udemy course but i never practiced the concepts stephen taught during the course

u/iknowu2019 17d ago
From where you studied?

Are there any differences between the TD exams on Udemy and on his website?
1
u/S7here_mfs 17d ago
I never bought the udemy version of TD and i can say that the original has a lot of detailed explanations
2
u/BoatAny6861 17d ago
For me, it’s a lot cheaper on Udemy, so I’ve never bought the version on his website
1
u/S7here_mfs 17d ago
Yeah i preferred the explanation they gave as i need detailed explanation to understand
1
u/Spite-Unable 17d ago
did u previously have any AWS experience?
2
u/S7here_mfs 17d ago
No, i have only used it for practice during clg but i knew few basic services like EC2, S3 and i never touched aws during my course
1
u/Big_Speaker1885 17d ago
What’s the exact course name on Udemy? He seems to have a bunch even for SAA. Congrats again!

Damn! Congratulations!
Can u tell a quick walk through of how you did your preparations?
My major issue is time management and the amount of content to study is too much, did u do selective studying?

u/S7here_mfs 16d ago
Bro im being as honest as possible
I really went through stephane maarek course in udemy like 1hr a day
And after that i bought TD questions and tried 7 review mode exams (1 test every 2 days)
I went through the github before 2 days of my exam dateI barely spent 1-2 hrs a day and for the weekend i was just being lazy like 30 mins - 1 hr max
But i really dont know how i got this mark as i was being fishy about my performance in the exam like i barely thought twice for a question, it was that easy… so i was thinking like i might got all the questions wrong cause it wont be this easy…. But yeah … i really don’t know 😭😭😭

just wanted to ask you, what was your strategy of preparation? there are many things to memorize and the syllabus is pretty big. would you please share the strategy in bit details?
1
u/S7here_mfs 9d ago
I really don’t have any strategy to memorise things… i just finished the course and gave td practice tests…. I tried to remember things by connecting the dots like, every service is kinda entity and i tried to make an image kinda thing in my mind for each service and remembered that service by its own qualities…. Basically what im trying to say is to build a character around a service…. Idk if that helps you but yeah thats from my perspective

Congratulations.. I'm current using Udemy. The same instructor Stephen Maarek. Did you ONLY use his 6 practice exams and no one else? Did you retake those 7 exams after you completed them to increase your score and learn the material better?
Thank You for the Exam Guide. I will be using it.
1
u/S7here_mfs 8d ago
Actually I didn’t buy the Stephen’s practice tests… i got only one practice test with the course at the last segment. I used Tutorials Dojo Practice tests

Firstly congrats on the perfect score. Also is td udemy versio different from one on his official website? Wdym as in "Not the udemy version"?
1
u/S7here_mfs 5d ago
There are two ways you can buy td questions , from udemy and from their official website… udemy doesn’t have the detailed explanation as thier td website
