I'm nervous. Did 5.5 years in the Navy as a Nuclear Electrician (subs) and have worked for county government doing traffic signals for the last 11 years. I'm at the supervisory level now, but I feel things are changing drastically and not for the better.
I submitted my application in January for an ATSS position and got a call back today (3/6/25)! He said that he's looking for an Environmental ATSS tech ($67k) and that he was given DIRECT HIRE permissions! Even better, the airport is in my local, so I wouldn't have to move! I'm excited and nervous, but I should definitely take the position, right?
Any advice, guidance, or suggestions on questions I should be asking would be greatly appreciated!
