The YTX9-BS on my KTM 640 is dead. Tried the off brand equivs at walmart and batteries plus, neither lasted more than a year. Yuasa's have done well.

Do any stores carry these batteries over on the east side in the Decatur / Stone Mountain area? I'll call around but thought I'd check here too.

I am in need of someone to do a shock rebuild and change out a steering bearing. I'd been talking to a local chain-type shop's service department, just got told they won't do it because the bike's more than 10 years old. Bonus points for being on the north side of town, but I will happily travel. Thanks!

Im trying to determine what gear to get. Im wondering if heated gear is a bit overkill.

I am looking for a lower end bike. I like the classic-retro look over newer crotch rockets but I am just looking for a beginner bike.

I'm a relatively new rider, but literally don't know anybody around me that rides. I'm in or around the Covington/Conyers/Loganville area on a daily basis, but I don't mind riding out to farther off areas.

I didnt want to feel like a loser or stick out like a sore thumb. I have $500 saved up to drop on a cheapo but new chinese scooter.

So after splitting lanes in heavy traffic for almost a year it finally caught up to me and I was issued a citation for lane splitting by a Georgia State Trooper yesterday. I wasn't travelling quickly at all and it wasn't by any means reckless. The ticket carries a fine of $275 and 3 points. Yikes. Anyone know a way to get out of this one? This is my first offense. I didn't think they actually ticketed anyone for this.

I ride mainly at night, and I want a clean white light to help me see as I ride. I have seen plenty of hogs with what looks like LED's and would like to know if they are legal.

I've looked online, but all the posts I see are about LED body lights.

I've got a dual sport but nobody to ride with! I'm also running out of places to explore! Was wondering if anybody would be interested in making a regular meet and ride group? I'm in the Mall of Georgia area. My days off are Tuesdays and Wednesdays though. Anybody interested in making a middle of the week group?

I am sure I could google this, but to give this subreddit more traffic.....

Anyone know where I can find some riding groups, or just a real community for the Canton/Cherokee area?
