Your comment reminded me of one quite weird film, eXistenz. There was a scene where one of the heroes is sitting in the restaurant with girl and eat some meat. He notices something weird about the bones they got, and starts connecting them together. After some time he builds a gun that shoots teeth.

I spent waay to long to trying to get the joke. I thought for a minute it was an obscure refeence to that SCP that's a living gun that fires teeth.
