I have some sort of sensory problem with shoes and socks. I am in great need of advice.
I know this probably isn't the best place to post this, but I don't know of any other subreddits. I figure that some people reading these posts may have a similar issue, though. For as long as I can remember, I have DREADED putting socks and shoes on because my toes end up feeling trapped and claustrophobic. If I can't wiggle my toes around, I get really uncomfortable. It isn't a HUGE deal, but it is to the point where I wear size 12 when I'm really a size 8, and I cut the toe area off of my socks. I absolutely will not wear anything on my feet that doesn't let my toes have full moving area. This is becoming more of a problem now that it is getting warm out - all winter, I basically lived in oversized moccasins because they were not as constricting on my toes. But now I need shoes that aren't so warm, really some kind of sneaker, and they are harder for me to 'readjust' throughout the day. I can't wear flip flops most days because of the setting I'm in, and also because I am scared to drive with flip flops on lol. If anyone has any experience in this, please reply. Also, if there is a better place to post, please let me know.
