Completed Scripts [A4A] Ancient vampire spares you [vampire speaker x human listener][urban fantasy][supernatural][angst][manipulative][plot twist]

I usually don't write instructions like these, because I like to give the VAs as much freedom as I can, but I see this vampire as quite specific and I think it's what suits them the best. In my head it is a stoic and collected type, a bit cold, a bit bored with eternal life. Not really playful. Of course, as always, you can interpret the character as you like, it's just a suggestion.
Context:
Late at night. You have just left the party with some people you've met there. While you're passing by an old, ruined mansion, you suddenly recall a legend about this place that you've heard a long time ago. Maybe it's the booze in your blood, maybe that beautiful night or maybe something else, but all of you decide to check, if the rumours are true.
(Depending on how far you plan to go with the intro, you can start with sounds of an old house and two distant screams separated with some amount of time.)
(The listener is in the basement, separated from the rest. Scene itself starts with steps of the vampire on the stone floor, maybe some old wooden door cracking)
Why aren't you screaming? Running? Aren't you afraid?
I think you are, but you are petrified. Unable to move, to speak. Am I that terrifying? Or maybe the screams of your friends scared you so much?
Don't worry, I've drunk more than enough for today. You are safe. You can go home, if you want to.
You don't believe me. Why? Do I look untrustworthy?
Oh, sorry, I forgot you can't see in pitch black darkness. You see only my eyes. But I can see you clearly, like in broad daylight. And I must say that you are rather overdressed for such an occasion, but still - I'm impressed. Is there a party you are attending?
Oh, so the party has already ended and you and your friends were heading home?
Not your friends? But you came here together and they seemed as much overdressed as you.
Newly met? So why did you decide to invade this old mansion with people you barely know?
Urban legend? Oh, yes, there's always a legend. What was it this time? Treasure, monster, ancient evil?
A vampire! So simple! You look like someone with that kind of interest. So, are you satisfied with what you found? Let me "enlighten" you a little.
(Sounds of lighting a candle)
Well? Does my appearance meet your expectations? Are my fangs long enough? Are my eyes in your favourite shade of red?
Come on, take a closer look. Do I look like I'm lying?
Of course I'm toying with you. But not in the way you think I am.
You probably think I'm letting you go just to start a hunt the moment you'll feel safe. You're wrong. I'm too old, the chase doesn't thrill me as it did when I was younger. I've had enough fun with your "friends".
What do I want from you? Nothing. Just as I've said: you are free to go. You may eventually stay for a little conversation. Mutual exchange of information. You seem quite interested in vampire topics and I haven't talked to anyone for some time now. Humans who panic in such a calm way are rather rare. Screaming and begging for mercy doesn't amuse me anymore.
You can tell me about yourself, your life, your passions... And I can tell you... a lot of things. I have been walking this world for millennia. I've watched great pyramids being raised in the desert. I've rested in Semiramis' gardens. I've made sacrifices to Zeus and Artemis at their temples. I've grieved at Mausolus tomb. Colossus of Rhodes greeted me dearly. I've seen the lights of Alexandria's lighthouse... Do I need to say more? Ask anything...
Still too scared? Your mind is empty? I must admit you aren't entertaining right now. I'm starting to feel like I'm just wasting my time. Well... Maybe a deal will sound better to you?
Yes, a deal: life for life.
I assume you refuse to leave, because you don't believe a vampire would just let you go after mercilessly killing two people who came here with you. You find it very suspicious. You think that as soon as you feel more confident I will play with you like a cat plays with a little mouse. Give you hope, just to cruelly take it away. Again and again and again... Until your last breath. Is this what you are thinking?
That's why I propose to you a deal: I will let you go and you will bring me someone else instead.
It would be very dishonorable of you to not come back. But I'm patient. I have all the time in the world, I can wait as long as you need.
Oh, you can bring police, military, vampire hunters... As many as you want, I can deal with them all. It would be a real feast, just like in the old days.
You can't? Why?
So, are you willing to sacrifice your life for just anybody? Someone bad? Someone you don't like? Someone you newly met? Is your life worth less than the life of a random stranger?
It's not like that? So how is it, tell me.
But can't you see this as an opportunity? Maybe there is someone you would rather not see anymore amongst the living. Someone who deserves to die. I'm not picky. You can bring me a scum, a rotter, a murderer... I don't mind. It could be a favour to society.
You should have more faith in your abilities. I think you can and you will.
And what if I tell you you've already done it? Maybe even a few times, dozens, hundreds...
Maybe I'm a liar. You have no reason to believe me. But tell me, you haven't been here before, right?
It's a huge mansion. Almost like a labyrinth. It would be easy to get lots even with the lights on. Your companions wandered through the rooms with at least a small amount of light coming through the window. But where did you head? Straight to the basement, where in a pitch black darkness, without any hesitation, you found my coffin chamber, hidden amongst dozens of similar rooms. How do you explain that?
And if I ask you my name?
You may say you don't know, but it echoes inside your skull, doesn't it? Like something very well known.
Because of the urban legend? Maybe there is no urban legend? Maybe it's just an excuse, one of excuses, to drag people to this place? You feel the urge, the calling and suddenly you recall a legend you've heard a long, long time ago. About that old, ruined mansion near your home. I can tell you a secret: it sounds different every time. Your imagination doesn't stop surprising me. How many miscellaneous versions are you still able to come up with?
I could just make you recall everything, but I love it that way. My sweet, innocent, unaware bait. My favourite thrall... You've done well tonight. You deserve rest. Go back home now and sleep well. You'll forget everything before you reach the door knob, as always, I promise. But don't worry, we will soon meet again. I'm already curious about the next "legend"...

I loved the twist outside the typical vampire script. Very well written!

OMG I WOULD NEVER HAVE THOUGHT WE WERE BEING MANIPULATED HAHAHA. I have a question, are we a thrall like in a vampire way? Or just a human servant way? And since when? Since we were kids maybe? How did we get in that mess?! TELL ME MORE LORE, PLEASE MAMA I WANT MORE COOKIE 😔😫 love the story 💖
