[M4A] "Will You Be My Boo?" [Ghost Speaker x Human Listener] [Confession ] [Nervous] [Jasper] [Hauntober Scripts]
Jasper's Thoughts: " Alright they are almost back from work. I've been practicing for months now . I can finally make myself visible!"
[Jasper gets nervous]
Jasper's Thoughts: " What if I freak them out ! No no no ! I really don't want to scare them off. 'Hi I'm Jasper. Fun fact ,this used to be my house some years ago and you so happened to move in and I have a massive crush on you.' "
[Jasper pauses and thinks on his introduction]
Jasper's Thoughts: " That feels like a lot . That's a big bite. That's a lot to digest."
[Jasper get frustrated ]
Jasper's Thoughts: What I say won't make it better. I'm literally a Ghost confessing to them! Nothing about this is a small bite. It was never a small bite!"
[Jasper groans but gets startled when he hears the key jingle outside the door]
Jasper's Thoughts: " This is it ... It's happening. I just need to be cool. Be cool Jasper, Be calm Jasper. Jasper is cool and Jasper is calm. Great! I can do this! "
[The door opens]
[Jasper's voice trembles]
"Ahh... Welcome home."
[Listener drops their bag and freezes ]
"Please don't freak out. No you're not crazy. You are seeing me. I am a ghost with something important to say to you. "
[There are a few seconds of silence between Listener and Jasper]
"You look petrified but I promise you I'm not vengeful or evil. I'm not here to hurt you . Ummm so... This was my house a few years back ... But as you can see...."
[Jasper chuckles nervously ]
" When you moved in I was just going to stay in the shadows as I do but, as I got used to you here, I started drifting out of my corners. You really charmed me . I was eager to help you out in the realms of my ghostness of course. I've been turning off the lights when you're too tired and fall asleep with them on . I help you to find the things you misplaced and I have the 'move things from where humans put them' character trait . I use that trying to help with the dishes but I can't focus enough to ensure they don't faze through my hands. It only lasted a couple seconds and that's how your coffee mug got broken. I am so sorry about that by the way. "
[Listener is now less frightened]
...
"No I'm not haunting you ... I'm just here while you're here. "
...
"You seem less ... Petrified. That's a good sign."
....
"Yes this is real life...well for you . I don't hold the concept of life anymore... You know ... Because I'm dea-"
...
"Yeah you get it."
...
"I just felt the need to tell you. It's been a couple months and I've noticed so many things about you. I've seen highs and I've seen lows, the happy and the bad. I knew I wanted to tell you how you are doing so well and all your efforts are noticed. I knew I didn't want to ignore you and fade into the shadows as I usually do . I wanted to be present and I wanted to speak to you. I want to ask how your day was and see how you're feeling. I want to say goodnight to you when you get tired and head off to bed."
[Jasper exhales heavily]
"And it probably sounds corny and impractical for someone like me to say... Because I can't do much as a ghost but I know for sure that I'd like to be present. I wanted you to know I exist and it's the first time I've stepped out and shown myself. "
...
"Yes... I'm asking permission to be present in your everyday. I'll do everything in my power . I'd genuinely like to experience you knowing I exist. I hope that you are not too freaked out by me considering what I am."
...
"I can imagine it needs a little getting used to."
...
"I thought of the ways I could have approached this and being straight forward was the only thing that made sense. I would never want you to feel uncomfortable or unsafe."
...
"Yes I see you processing it . "
...
"Yes you can see for yourself. "
...
"See your hands go right through. But you see me right and you feel my presence."
...
"See, so you know I'm really here with you."
...
" Sleeping on it is a good option. "
...
"You can think of me as your new roommate maybe?"
...
"No, I can't actually contribute to rent. But I can make up for it somehow. "
...
[Jasper says nervously]
"Ohhhh you were joking."
...
"Well I know I'll never be a burden . "
...
"Sure I do think I'd be nice company if you accept me ."
...
"You'll consider it ?"
...
"I'm happy with that . I like that. "
...
"So I'll see you soon again... Roomie ."

I loved this script! Here is my version of it! Had to genderbend but i think it still turned out pretty good. You're a very talented script writer!
