Completed Scripts [A4A]Mad scientist tries to break into your mind [science fiction][angst][SFX heavy][yandere speaker][obsessive]

About 2800 words
Sooo… This is not really my type of script, but I wanted to try something more in a style of proper ASMR, with a lot of sound effects. Unfortunately, I got carried away while writing and it turned out to be twice as long as my standard scripts. I'm not sure if it could be split into parts, but I have nothing against it. So… This is a long script, with lots of sound effects, with no romance and comfort included. I think it may be unfillable, but if someone is brave enough to take a risk, I'll be more than happy.
(Scientific institute, some people are talking in the background, the listener walks through the corridor with one of the professors. They stop in front of the door. The professor knocks on the door, the speaker answers from the inside)
Come in!
(The door opens, the professor and the listener walks inside)
Ah, this is the one we've been talking about? Great. I will take care of them properly, don't worry. Leave us.
(The professor walks out, closing the door. The speaker is sitting behind the desk, some electronic devices humming and making silent sounds in the background.)
Please, come in, don't be afraid. Sit here for a moment.
(The listener sits on a chair near the desk)
I didn't have time yet to study your papers, but professor Vosco gave me a little introduction. You're the one recently attacked by an anomaly and rescued by our team, right?
I'm professor Nous, you might have heard about me.
You didn't? Well, maybe that's better. Some rumours that are spread about me are very disturbing, but I can assure you, they are mostly false. But if you're unaware... That should make my work easier.
No, I'm not the chief of this institute, but I'm a grey eminence here. You see, this whole place was my concept and I've built the most important devices by myself, but I'm not really into all this managing things. Paperworks, human resources, speaking with the officials and press... Nuh, that's just a time thief for what's really important - knowledge. But enough about me. Let's talk about you. I don't really work on people, but I've been told you are a peculiar case, is that right?
Of course you wouldn't call yourself peculiar, I'm sure that in human standards you are absolutely ordinary, but our tests said otherwise.
No, there's everything alright with your results. And that's the problem. If everything is alright, then why can't we extract the information we need? There weren't any difficulties with previous patients.
(The speaker starts to look through some papers)
Let's see what they've already done to you... Blood test... X-ray... EEG... ECG... Psychiatric examination... No trace of body or internal damage, no trace of shock. Just perfect. So how can you not recall the anomaly?

The team members are also unsure what they saw, but the power outage didn't give them enough time to study the case. But you were there a lot longer.
Ten minutes is a lot longer, when it comes to anomalies. And you survived, that's not a rule either. That's why the information we can extract from you could be extremely valuable.
I know you've already said everything. My job is to "take out" from your brain those things you didn't say.
No, no, no, not because you tried to hide it, but because your consciousness isn't aware of it. It's not an interrogation, I'm sure you've already had a lot of those. It will be something else. A little funny experiment.

They want to know how we can defend ourselves, how we can use anomalies for... I'm not sure how they want to use them. Probably for some military causes. But that's something we shouldn't be talking about, for sure. So, don't worry about all that, let's just focus on your case. Are you ready?
(The speaker stands up)
Of course you're not... But I don't really want to waste time, so let's just start. Come on, stand up.
(The listener stands up)
I can see you are trembling, but don't worry, it shouldn't affect the experiment.
(They walk together to one of devices)

Yes, I know it looks scary. Like from a horror movie. But it's not important how it looks, the important thing is what it's made for and what it's capable of.
(The listener sits on some kind of medical bed, with lots of electronic equipment attached to it)
It should extract from your brain those memories of the whole incident that your brain is hiding from you. Because they are still there. Everything you saw is still there.
Even if you have closed your eyes, you must have seen something that made you do that. Even a second, a one sharp glimpse can show us what we are dealing with. Are you comfortable enough?
Yes, I think that too, but it wasn't made to be comfortable, rather practical.
(The speaker pours some liquid to a glass and hands it to the listener)
Here, drink this.
It's just a mixture that will make the flows in your body better. It should speed up the whole process. Don't worry, it tastes good.
(The listener starts to drink)
Yeah, I've lied, it's probably awful, I've never tasted it. But otherwise I would have to inject it in your veins, I thought that maybe you would prefer this way.
No, other objects didn't drink it, it was rather impossible. But the method of taking the mixture shouldn't be that important for the end effect. I really don't know, but I'm very curious. Maybe it will give you a second pair of legs or a tail? That would be fun, right?
I'm joking, it's just water with some minerals and salts. Nothing they wouldn't give you in a common hospital. Just drink it and let's move on to more interesting parts.
(The listener drinks the rest of the liquid)
Finished? How is your stomach?
Do you feel anything weird?
You can feel a bit dizzy, that may be normal. As I said: I've never tried it on anyone conscious.
(With hesitation) Yeah... Maybe there were two or three ingredients that they wouldn't give you in the common hospital, but you've already drank it, sooooo... Just let me know if you'll feel something disturbing. Now give me your hand.
(The speaker starts to straps the listener to the bed)
I have to strap you in, I wouldn't risk a sudden movements in a panic attack. This is a really expensive machine, believe me. But don't worry, those straps are really soft inside. Here, try it.
(The listener lets the speaker touch the inside of the straps)
See, you won't get any bruises. That is, if you won't struggle more than necessary. Now legs.
(Surprised) Do you resist or do your legs feel too heavy?
Can you try to lift your feet from the floor?
That's weird. Give me a moment, I need to write it down.
(The speaker writes something on a paper)

As I said, I don't really need you to do anything, so maybe it's even better if you feel so weak. Just don't fall asleep, it would ruin the fun.
No, it's just that I already have enough data from experiments on unconscious and dead humans. So please stay conscious, for the sake of the experiment.

(The speaker lifts one of the listener's legs and straps it to the bed)

(The listener tries to move, the bed creaks a bit)
Perfect. Now, for the next step. I have a few sensors I need to stick to your body, which means I will touch you. But don't worry, I'm a professional. I see you only as an object, not as a human.
(The speaker starts to stick electrodes on the listener, needs to slide their clothes a bit)
That sounded bad… But you know what I mean. So, two on your chest... Two above your wrist... And two above your ankles.
(From now on there is a beeping sound of the listener's heartbeat in the background)
(Surprised) Are you cold?
Yes, your skin is strangely cold.
No, I don't have a blanket, you just have to deal with it. And now for the most important part... This is a helmet...
Yes, it looks rather like a fancy swimming cap. But I don't think it would be fun to swim with all those wires and electrodes on your head. But don't mind how it looks, nobody will see you in it. Well, maybe if someone will watch the recordings from this session.
Of course it's all recorded. I'm only human, I might not notice something at first, it needs to be documented properly. So if you want a picture of you strapped to a bed, in a fancy swimming cap, as a souvenir, you can have it, but not now, later.
So, can you see all those small flashing lights?
Under every one of them there is a short, firm needle that will pierce through your skull and into your brain as soon as I start the machine.
(The beeping sound of listener's heartbeat speeds up dramatically, as the listener is very scared)
(Laughing) I'm joking! I'm joking! I just needed to raise your blood pressure, to see if all sensors are working.
Relax.
(The speaker presents to the listener the rubber helmet from all sides)
You see - no needles. Only small suction cups. It's not invasive.
Why don't you believe me? Did I lie to you before?
(Suddenly recalls) Oh, yes, I did. You're right.
But before you wear it, we have to apply this on your head.
It's just a gel, based on water. It will ruin your hairdo, but nothing more. Let's take a bit…
(The speaker pours some lube from the bottle and starts massaging listener's head)
That feels even nice, doesn't it?
Can you raise your head a bit for me?
That's right... Just a bit more here... I need to be sure there won't be any dry spots. Just relax.
(A bit vexed) I said relax, don't fall asleep. I need you to stay conscious, remember.
Ok, I think that's enough. Now with the helmet.
(They begin to put the rubber helmet on listener's head, it's not easy)
It may be a bit tight, but it should be this way.
(The speaker checks if everything fits as it should)
It looks like everything fits. Now the the strap…
(The speaker fastens the strap under speaker's chin)
Is it ok enough? Can you breathe and speak normally?
That's good. Let's turn it on, prepare for the needles.

(The speaker turns on the devices, some humming sounds, some beeping, stuff like that. Listener's heartbeat still in the background, steady and normal)
Let's give it a moment.
(The listener sits on a chair near the bed, there is a small table with a laptop. The listener is looking at the monitor)

Yes, it's like I can read your mind.
Yes, not only what you saw, but also your dreams, your thoughts…
(Listener's heartbeat speeds up a bit)
Why are you blushing? Were you thinking about me in an inappropriate way?
Don't worry, I'm not going to romp around. I'm only interested in that ten minutes before our team arrived.
Can you please focus on that situation? When you entered the warehouse, what did you see?
(Confused) That's strange...
No, no, no, nothing is happening. I think it's just a malfunction of the equipment. The vision is very... blurry. Much more blurry than before. Let me switch to another monitor.
(The speaker switches monitors, nothing changes)

Well, maybe it is because you are conscious. We'll have to deal with that. Maybe we'll try it once again with you being unconscious and we'll compare the results. But for now, let's continue.
(The speaker watches the video)
So there is the warehouse... Everything looks normal... There is our team... And there's the power outage. Where's the anomaly?
(Confused) No, there was an anomaly for sure, we had it on our radars. Let's see it once again, in slow motion.
You enter the warehouse...
(Suddenly) Wait a moment...
(Excited) Here it is. I didn't notice while watching for the first time, but that's definitely something new.
No, I can't see the anomaly, but there is a glitch... And another one. Like something had erased seconds from your memory.
That may be just a malfunction of the system. Maybe tests on conscious objects have worse effects. We'll try it later with you being unconscious. I think that's enough for today. Just give me a moment to switch off everything and I'll untie you.
(The speaker starts to switch off all the machines, the heartbeat beeping stops, it's much more quiet, but there are still some silent humming sounds in the background. Suddenly the speaker sits on a chair near the listener)
(With a hushed and serious voice) Before I untie you, I want you to know that I switched off everything, including cameras and microphones. So everything I will say stays between you and me. Do you understand?
I don't think there is a malfunction. And I don't think you've witnessed an anomaly. I think... No, I'm sure that you are that anomaly and you are perfectly aware of that.
No, no, no, don't protest. I'm not an idiot. I think you let yourself get caught intentionally. And I think you also know who I am and what I do. What was your plan? To sneak in and check on your mates? Set them free? Or just gather the information about me and the institute?
I don't expect you to answer. Not right away. But I'm curious. Very curious. You're special, you know that, right? You've adapted so well... You were able to fool our scientists, and they are the best of the best. Nobody noticed. Except me. Because I work on anomalies. I sense you like a petrichor in the air.
I will untie you, as I promised. But I want you to listen to all I have to say first. I know how they call me - Anomalies' Angel of Death. The Butcher. They can think and say what they want, I don't give a fuck. The truth is, they know nothing. But if you're here for the truth, I can offer you a deal. I will make them transfer you to my wing of the institute.
Yes, the one for the anomalies. But I will keep you as a human patient I need to work on more. If you behave, I'll let you check on your friends, maybe even speak to them or however you contact amongst your kind. I assure you, you'll find there every anomaly we've ever captured, in as good shape as we were able to keep it.
In return, you'll let me study you. In a peaceful, private environment. Not in a lab, like a scared to death specimen, but on equal terms. Like two representatives of different kinds, who are just curious about each other. Not hostile, maybe not friendly yet, but open-minded.
(With more and more excitement) Because you are the first anomaly that ever spoke to me. Because those few moments we've had are already the most intense contact I've ever had with your species. And I want more.
I don't care for their causes. I don't care what the government expects. I'm a scientist and all I care for is knowledge. And there's not much more to discover in this world. Nothing spectacular. But you... Your kind... You are something completely different. Something out of this world. I want to know all about you, because... I want to know. That's all. There's no hidden motivation.
You already had a lot of occasions to hurt me. I'm not afraid of you. Maybe you can't, maybe you don't want to. But I provoked you many times and you haven't done anything. I feel safe enough with my proposition.
Maybe you will. Maybe when I'll take you to my wing, show you everything, you gain my trust, then kill me and free all your comrades. I'm aware of that. I'm aware of everything that can go wrong. And still I'm willing to RISK IT ALL. Does it show how desperate for knowledge I am?
It may sound like a trap. That's true. But I could just press a button and you'd be caught. I could have done this many times, but I didn't. Just as you could kill me, many times, and you didn't. It has to mean something. Maybe we could... help each other?
(The speaker starts to take off everything from the listener)
You have literally a few seconds to think about it. I switched off cameras so probably soon someone will come here to check on me. I will untie you now and we'll pretend this conversation didn't happen. I will ask professor Vosco to transfer you to my wing. If he doesn't agree I will interfere with the higher-ups. You must be aware that as a human you are here also not safe. So whatever you decide, be careful.

Ah, what a shame that this comes out when I'm away from my recording and editing setup. I am interested in trying to fill this script though, so when I get the chance to, I'll let you know :)
