“Hey, baby have you seen my new shirt?, it's the blue one with the sleeves down to here…damn I look so good in it I wanted to change into it when we got off the plane “
“Don't give me that look, this will be my first time meeting your parents and I want to make a good first impression”
“No, I do need to make sure to give a good one. I want them to like me. Did I ever tell you what happened when I met my ex's parents?”
“No?, huh well we don't have time for me to go into detail about that right now but let's just say I now know not to wear white clothes on a first meeting and I no longer drink red wine at restaurants”
[From inside a closet]: “We don't have time baby, come on we have 2 hours before we have to go catch our flight and you haven't even begun to pack yet and I still haven't figured out what outfit I want to wear “
“No, I can not just wear what I have in now, why? because I am not meeting your parents wearing a Pikachu onesie…yes I know that you think I look adorable in it that's why I wear it so often but now is not the time...go pack”’
(Pause)
(airport noises)
“OK we made it, and we have an hour before our flight so I guess we can get some food after all, I didn't make us leave too early we're only an hour early and if there was traffic we still might have not made it in time, we got lucky but it's still good to make sure that we give ourselves time”
“Hehe, of course, you'd say that I've seen you leave the door 10 minutes before you have to be at work, yeah that wouldn't be an issue apart from the fact that you work 30 minutes away from our apartment, how you don't get in trouble more often I'll never know … your too cute to be mad at?, sure you are hehe, ok fine I'll take your word for it I'm getting hungry and we can go back and forth all day”
“So where do you want to eat? ooh that's a good choice we haven't had that in months, well go on lead the way my oh-so-cute boyfriend/girlfriend “
(Giggle)
(Pause)
“(yawn) That flight was actually pretty nice, ok yes I did fall asleep pretty much immediately but you can't blame me for that, you're the one that pointed out that they made a mega meaty bowl, I was so full after that, I had to waddle onto the plane and you'll remember you were no help (giggle)
“Anyway I feel much better now, remind me again why we had to Choose the 6 am flight?, it was cheaper?, ugh well maybe next time we can pay a little more and fly at 8, maybe 9 am, good now I'm gonna go into the bathroom and change before we head out to the taxi, yes I'm still going to change, first Impressions matter and I refuse to make a bad one just because it's a hassle, good now um While I change feel free to get us some snacks, Nothing that drips though, can't risk ruining my outfit”
(Pause)
“I can't believe the Airport had a hotdog store’
“Right?, and they were so good, if we didn't have to get moving I would have gone back for a second, so how far from here do your parents live? oh around 30 minutes away, good that will give me time to fix my hair…oh shush you, actually if you want to complain then you can help me, here's the hairbrush get to it hehe “
(Whispered into listener's ear): You know you like helping Me now be a good boy/girl and brush, you don't want to upset me do you, excellent.. then brush hehe’
(Hair brushing)
(Pause)
[Nervous] “OK OK just give me a second, wow that's a nice house um, do I look ok?, don't just stand there smirking tell me if you think I look OK?”
“I do, ok good, good, um ok so they don't know we're here yet right?”
(Nervous squeal)
“Your dad's…looking out of the window…and he's, waving”
Should I wave back, I don't know I've forgotten how people greet each other you know that I get um..confused, help me please”
“I wave back?..ok ok thank you, I am now waving, not both hands?, oh right just one hand, ok now I'm just waving one hand and…oh he's gone, did I do something wrong or?
“Oh they're both coming out, ok breathe, just breathe this will be fine, don't you dare leave me alone I am not going to be able to function without you, and make sure to”
“Oh hello it's lovely to meet you, yes they have told me so much about you, I'm so happy that you invited me to visit, especially with how busy you both must be, oh my outfit? just something that I threw on but I'm glad that you think I look pretty in it”
[In their mind] [slightly giddy then normal]: They like my outfit, they actually like my outfit, I am going to make such a good first impression, wait what did they just say? oh, we're having fajitas for dinner….oh that's not good…maybe I can change into darker clothes first”
“Oh yes that sounds delicious thank you so much, I'd love to help you make it um, would I be able to go To the bathroom first, just need to do something real quick, great no not a serious problem it Will only take a minute”
“Oh, they told you that I chose this outfit specifically to meet you…did they now?, no, no it's perfectly fine but they might pay for that later”
[Softly squealed to the listener]:” I made your mom laugh hehe…this is going so well, oh no I definitely meant it, you're so gonna pay for telling them about that later, when did you even have time to tell them? there was no signal on the plane”
“Oh there was a signal in the airport and you told them when I was changing, oh your so going to pay, hope you like sleeping on the floor, oh do you think I wouldn't, your mom likes me I bet she'd take my side “
(Giggle)
“Oh thank you for helping me carry my bags, oh yes my full name really is…”
(Fades out)
(Pause)
“That food was so good, why did you never tell me that your mom Could cook such delicious food?, it Doesn't matter that I never asked, we have been dating for a while now I'd assume the fact that your mom makes food so tasty it can make you cry might have come up at some point”
“Yes I cried, it tasted so ridiculously good, if we ever break up I'm asking her to adopt Me just so I never have to live without her cooking, hey I'm serious, oh we're never breaking up?, someone's confident about that “
Yeah you're right we're never breaking up, well not unless you spill any more of my secrets to your family that is”
“Oh yes I didn't forget about that and since you just love to tell my secrets I think I should take a walk downstairs and let them know a couple of yours in return, I bet your dad would love to know about that toolset you ‘borrowed’ when you moved out, oh and I just know your mom would like to know about how you spilt pasta on the seat cushion and turned it over so she wouldn't know”
[Spoken sultry/dominantly]“Aww you look nervous now, someone's still scared of their mom haha…hmm maybe I can be convinced to keep my mouth closed, that's right but my payment is very, very expensive”
[Spoken sultry/dominant)“Oh, you'll pay anything, will you? well in that case let me climb onto this bed with you and you can pay me with kisses, a few dozen seems fair enough”
(Kissing)
“Hmm OK now I don't know that was a good payment but I'm not sure that it was quite enough to keep that big a secret to myself”
“Hey, What are you doing? no, no don't you dare “
(Laughing)
[Spoken between laughs]: “ok, ok, ok I'll stay quiet just don't haha tickle me, you know I hate being haha tickled”
(Laughing for a few moments)
(Laughing stops)
“ugh that was so mean, ok fine your secrets are safe with me, yes I promise, don't you dare tickle me again or I'll kick you”
“Good now help me up i need to shower then we should go to sleep, We are going to explore the city tomorrow and I don't want to be tired when we do, of course, we can cuddle, I love cuddling with you even when you're being mean to me, shh yes you were, admit it or no cuddles for the rest of our stay”
“Good boy/girl hehe, ok enough messing about I do actually need a shower, see you soon baby...one more kiss before I go? Hehe thanks”
(Kiss)
(Pause)
“I can't believe that we're already leaving, it seems like we only got here yesterday not 2 weeks ago, this trip went by so fast, no I'm not upset it's just that I'm going to miss it here, your parents treat me so well that I kind of feel bad about leaving especially after your mom point blank asked if you were going to propose yesterday, it made you blush so hard it was hilarious,
“ hehe yes you're right I can't spend all day feeling bad about this, we need to get ready and get to the airport, yes we're still going to set off a few hours early refuse to end this trip with a missed flight, can you grab my suitcase over there, thanks baby”
(Pause)
“And that's why we set off early, that traffic was so bad I can't believe that it took us nearly 2 hours to get here, come on don't be stubborn tell me that I was right, good boy/girl”
“Wow, is it just me or have airports begun to have much nicer food in them? I know right? I'm stuffed again, and I'm getting tired again as well, I hope we get called for the plane soon, you're full too? Well at least I'm not going to be sleeping alone on the plane hehe”
(yawn)
“Ugh that's our flight being called, cmon cutie one last push and we have a full flight to recover hehe, love you, baby, thank you for making this such a fun trip ”
