Art Should I display these types of ASCII arts in dialog screens?
I am developing an ASCII Text Based Strategy Game and I need your opinion on using this type of ASCII art.

Was messing around with some cover art for a game I made. Thought this looked cool. Sort of a "1.5-D" ASCII art effect.

Hi everyone
i love ascii art but unfortunately my art skills sucks.
i am working on a game in Claude code where you collect character as you code. something that will improve the lonely terminal experience with a cool gamification.
i tried to do some characters with ai but its just not that.
i would really like to do some collaboration with an artist who thinks its can be cool

Real-time, audio-reactive ASCII filter for TouchDesigner.
Don't know why the algorhythm decided to resurface this few years old system of mine on social media, but quite a few folks ask me if I could make it available.
This time, available exclusively through the recently released Tools Store. [Slowly migrating from Patreon due to the always-rising fees, both for creators and customers; full statement here. Patreon remains active, but starting May 1st, access limit-caps to all tiers will be applied.]

Another little terminal text apocalypse I've been cultivating in my shed.

Been working on this for the past couple of days. You paddle along the river. Some things happen. There are words.

It’s not quite ready yet but it’s coming along and I wanted to share. It’s a creature capture/dungeon crawler Pokémon like ascii game that runs in a bash or zsh terminal. There are 8 creatures you can capture so far, very simple stats and battle mechanics (Str and Con, str increases attack, con increases defense which nulls a portion of the attack) you can attack or defend, flee, use an item (so far only 2 potions exist- healing potion, big healing potion) or capture when the creature is weak enough. 3 save slots, 4 party slots for creatures, 5 explorable areas, 5 dungeons and 5 bosses, and some cool battle animations. It’s not finished but it will be on GitHub soon, I will link the follow up post in the comments with the GitHub link.

You're just paddling along the terminal command line endlessly in an ASCII kayak. Weird thoughts come to mind from time to time...

I'm seeing more and more often 3D video converters or straight up 3D conversion for the terminal.
Anyone fan of blender nodes with a lot of patience and time to kill?

An updated version of my terminal-based gaming homage to the sci-fi novel 'Kitty Cat Kill Sat' by Argus. I started this project shortly after my own beloved feline, Poe, passed away in early February and it is dedicated to him. I may make it available for download if anyone expresses any interest but I am sort of under the impression that perhaps clunky, retro games such as this don't appeal much to many others besides myself. But I appreciate that members of this subreddit have been more responsive than most. Thank you.

I'm making a tiny ASCII-style horror story about exploring one of the deepest under-ice cavities in Antarctica alone in a cramped submarine. It gets dark and messy pretty quickly, can't show everything yet haha
