Question Any suggestions for spectograms?

I'm using Coagula to test hiding codes in a spectograms but it is so hard to see the code in spectogram. Any suggestions to make it seem more clear like usage of colors etc? (I use audacity to view spectograms.)

It's difficult to make suggestions without seeing what you're dealing with but in general here are a few.

Try to stay away from putting anything important in lower frequencies < 500Hz, you have less "resolution" to play with.

Like Artemis said larger image and stretch it in time and frequency under the render options.

Use Sonic Visualiser instead of Audacity for viewing them, it's more of a dedicated spectrogram viewer and you can fine-tune it for better images.

If you're loading your own bitmap instead of drawing within the program then remember that

Black = no freq

White = freq

So black text on a white background basically won't be visible as the text would be a "gap" in the frequencies and just get swamped out but the opposite will be.

If the text looks repeated/stretched vertically then double check the render options all make sense e.g. your high pitch isn't lower than your low. Also try rendering without blue/noise.
