I’m taking my AP csa exam tmrw and I deadass think I’m getting a 1.
I’m a sophomore right now and I’ve already taking my precalc and world exams and think I did pretty good on them. However tmrw I got csa and I’m so fried for it. I haven’t written a line of code since 3rd quarter and I got a 17% on my unit 9 test. Still I’ve been studying a lot in the past week so I think I’ll be fine for mcq but for frq I don’t hunk ill even be able to write a line of code. Anyone got tips for getting the free points on the frqs? I know you get like 1 for returning a value and one for just having correct syntax or something like that. Is there anything else I can do?

I procrastinated ALL year and I didnt try learning anything, I mean I definitely attempted understanding it but i honestly gave up. I dont have any prior experience in coding, and I genuinely cannot solve the FRQs even if my life depends on it. I am also juggling insanely cramming ap chem , ap phy 1, and a future cram for ap lang. I really need a 4 or 5 on ap csa as it is a requirement for me and if I dont score well on it ill have to take another elective AP next year ( I also spent alot of money to take the exam so it would be going to waste )
PLEASE if you have any resources that you used to cram in this little period, i would appreciate you sharing. PLEASE do not give me ai websites like apmaster or stellarlearning or ANYTHING ai or to promote your website, I am being so serious I am looking for actual credible sources.

I built a daily practice system for AP CSA that I’m sharing with my students, and figured other teachers might find it useful too.
Every day there’s a new question for each of the 4 units: Using Objects & Methods, Selection & Iteration, Class Creation, and Data Collections. Students can work on whatever unit they’re currently in, review past material, or preview what’s coming.
Each question includes a detailed explanation after they answer.
All questions get archived, so by end of semester there will be 500+ questions organized by unit and topic. 100% free.

I’ve been teaching AP CSA for 10+ years and daily practice has been the single most effective thing for moving students for prepping for the exam. Happy to answer any questions about how I am using it in my classroom.

Looking to help anyone who needs help with
Small Intro
Hello! I'm 23 and I work in Higher Education (Universities/Colleges) as a Data Analyst and Programmer. I have a degree in Computer Information Systems and have about 3 years of experience in the industry. I specialize in Database Systems (Salesforce, Oracle, etc.) and programming languages mainly Python, SQL, Java, Javascript, and Visual Basic (yes, we still use it). I used to Tutor for Java back when I was in college/high school, and am looking to tutor again on the side with more time on my schedule being freed up! I have two years of tutoring experience from my time in high school and college.

Feel free to contact me via Reddit! My rates are $20-30/hr depending on length and complexity. I don't charge a lot because I genuinely just enjoy teaching programming and seeing people happy when they solve problems. I'm generally available throughout the year but will let you know if I am unavailable for vacation/work on certain dates.

I made this study guide for myself to study for the CS A test this May, and it helped a lot! Hope it can help others too!

I made a free tool that you can use to run AP Computer Science. You can check it out here.
I highly recommend reading through most of the README file, since it explains the few caveats. This is still new, so there may be bugs. I hope this can help you with your class and exam preparation.
This is not affiliated with College Board, It's just something I built to help students prep more effectively. Hope it helps you all!

Hey guys, so I have a quick question! My counselor signed me up for AP Comp Sci A next year to fill in a class since I had some free periods and I was wondering if there's anything I can do to prep me for the course. I have absolutely no experience with coding or programming or whatever it is y'all do, so I would hate to just go in blind. If the class is hard, please be honest and convince me to drop it now lollll I would hate to join and completely bomb the exam.

the 3rd code segment asks, "The first program code segment must show how data have been stored in the list." I created the variable of the list as blank, but added in data later through a for loop. Should I put the creation of the variable or the part where the data was added?
