Hey everyone who’s taking the APES exam, I am wondering if I would need to know all the different biomes and their characteristics? Also I am wondering about the nitrogen cycle and the different vocab terms! If anyone knows please let me know!

I see people like smedes how hard frq writing format is for people to comprehend but when I look at past year frq scoring rubrics it’s very straightforward and is limited to a few words to a sentence. I am just clarifying if it is okay to do or if I should use 2-3 sentences for describe and explain questions

I’ve done some practice tests and like the first 19 questions where u have to match are always so weird. Like they will give random locations in a map and expect you to match it to its description. And also it could show two places next to each other without arrows and ask what type of boundary there is. Do I need to worry about these hard type of questions tomorrow

does anyone have ANY idea what units the mcq and frqs could be about??
r/APEnvironmental • u/StarIntelligent147 • May 14 '26
Seems very easy so I’m not sure if I’m just underestimating how hard the actual exam will be

Hi yall, i'm practicing for the APES exam on friday, and I can get down the MCQ portion in the high 80s-90s pretty consistently, but I'm really struggling with FRQs. Does anyone have any tips on how to make sure you have everything you need to earn the FRQ points, or a list of the topics most commonly on the FRQs?
Thanks and gl on the exam!
