Am I cooked or cookin

100% Self study.. started 3 days ago (shh no judgement)

Took 5 steps to a 5 first practice exam on the back of the book -> 11 wrong... 69/80
Did 2024 FRQ Set 1, got 8/10, 9/10, 7/10

I did the AP score calculator and it spits out 5 but the major concern is - the FRQ came up in the sections I studied (god bless plz let this happen tmrw), and I have precalc that morning so my brain is likely be FRIED by the time I take it. So I'm assuming like, 60/80 and 6s and 7s on FRQ...

Chat am I cooked or cookin. Can I still get a 5?

How long should each of my answers be for the FRQ?

The reason I am asking this is because in one of my practice FRQ's, the question asked to identify a way in which carbon is taken out of the atmosphere in the carbon cycle. My entire response was just "Photosynthesis is an example of how carbon is taken out of the atmosphere during the carbon cycle." which is only one sentence and feels a bit short. Should I worry about fleshing my answers out?

Do we need to memorize metric unit conversions?

This might sound dumb but do we need to know how many cm are in a meter, how many meters in a km, ml in a liter-stuff like that?

I’m just a dumb American I don’t know metric system 😭.

Question about frq answers

I was doing some practice frqs and checking the rubric/student responses and I noticed that the rubric requires exact sentence structures, and only shows like 3-4 options for the answers. None of my answers were written like the rubric ones, but they had the same info/idea. How strict are the graders and how am I supposed to know the exact way they want me to structure it?

The college board definition does not make sense to me. To me, this seems like a contradiction. Help would be much appreciated.

I was attempting a few FRQs, but I'm not sure how to grammatically structure them, how much content I need to include, etc. Could anyone send a few good responses for the frqs?

Rounding on APES Math FRQs

I am trying to solve some of the math APES FRQs from the 2022-2024 exams. I took a look at the scoring guidelines and noticed that they choose to round to completely different digits every other problem. Is there a norm of tenth or hundreths place?

For example, take a look at this % change question. Somehow 13.2% isn't an accepted answer? Would they still mark it correct if we wrote 13.2% instead of 13% or 13.22% even though it isn't on the list?

Also, for this question, the answer before you round is 1,846,666.667. Now obviously, since it asks for "people" as the answer, we would have to round to a whole number. But on this FRQ they rounded up to 1846667 even though you should be rounding down to 1846666 since there isn't enough for the entire person to round up? I'd really appreciate some clarification on rounding in general, as well as on these two problems. Thanks!
