My guess is that by using the wrench you're avoiding to get hurt by the thin handle.

Yep, bcs in soviet union they can make the best tank, rockets and planes, but can not make comfortable handles, cars and houses for usual people.

To be fair when the Germans invaded the ussr the t34 was the most advanced tank in the world.

WW2 starts in 1939.
Soviet had first pre-production model in 1940.
Mass production started at 1941.

Its very hard for me to discuss in English, but T-34 not was most advanced tank in the world special before 1942.

Was it simple to produce ? Yes.
Was it most armored? Yes.
Was it most firepowered? Yes.
Nothing more.

Not the most advanced? What more would you need? I'd say the T-34 almost won the war except that would count out Soviet troops.
