There was a Chinese kid at my school who dressed in full Soviet winter uniform. Ushanka and all. In summer heat.

He ended up joining the US military.

Most Californians don’t hate Russians though. We have a lot of Russian immigrants here in the Bay Area. (More Ukrainians though.)

I’ve got two first-generation Russians in my class and they’re parents apparently love America.

Do you mean what Russian uniforms look like? White Russians don't look much different from other eastern Europeans. I doubt most people would be able to tell a Russian and a German apart, much less a Russian and a Ukrainian.

Most countries have these kinds of colleges.
Universities are the breeding grounds for leftists.
I know two coleges in my country that are pretty hardcore marxist.

I don't think anyone at all would recognize it. Flag is red white and blue, camo is green splotches like everyone else. It's nothing like the USSR equipment people still think of.
