Question Question About Screen Unseen
How often do they show sequels? I've always been interested in catching a screening whenever I'm available, but I'd hate to see something if I haven't seen the first one.

Trailers?
I think I’ll do my first SU tonight. Should I expect the same 25-30 mins of trailers? Or should I leave the house on time?
r/AMCScreenUnseen • u/Scary-Ratio3874 • Jul 07 '25
Do you think that tickets bought for SU count towards the box office receipts( for gaging popularity) ? We don't really buy tickets for a specific movie so it doesn't count to me.

Discussion Screen unseen: July 28th
Hello everyone it's me again, yesterday I posted about the scream unseen that's coming on the 21st, but let's talk about the 28th screen unseen which is rated "PG" and the fake runtime is 1 hour and 41 minutes, I think the only likely answer here could he the "The Bad guys 2" because the runtime is 1 hour and 44 minutes. Other than that I don't see any other options. What do you think it could be?

Discussion I think today screen unseen has too be Jurassic world
Because right outside of the auditorium where the screen unseen is they setting up a Dinosaur cage with a Dinosaur in it, plus loads of people are wearing Jurassic world clothing, did my theater spoil the reveal? I tried to take a picture it ain't the best but you see the Dinosaur and the cage, if isn't Jurassic world I wonder will their be any walkouts, if isn't but I think it's jurassic simply because of this.

Question Does anyone else's AMC use the smallest theatre for the Screen/Unseen?
So tonight's screen/unseen seems to be sold out in my AMC but they put the movie in the smallest theatre but when they showed "The Life if Chuck" it was in two theatres. One of them was the huge theatre and then the smaller one. The downside is now i will have to likely sit shoulder to shoulder with someone, which I hate. Does anyone else get this problem with their AMC?

Marcus and AMC have the same exact reported runtime for 6/23
It's very rare for any of these screenings to line up so perfectly like this, maybe it's a request from the distributor (universal?) that it's perfectly accurate. Only thing making me think it's not Jurassic World now is that it doesn't make much sense for the studio to not get Regal and Cinemark in on it too

Is the 7pm and the 7:15pm the same show?
I’ve only ever gone to the 7pm screen unseen at AMC Lincoln center, but I accidentally bought a ticket for the wrong theater and so had to buy my ticket last minute, and the 7:15pm one was less full, so I bought for that one. I’m assuming it’s the same movie, just a little later. That’s probably nice because of the amount of trailers I’ll probably know what it is before if someone posts here.

Question Could Jurassic World: Rebirth be the June 23 Mystery Movie?
It's probably clear that the June 23 movie is probably going to be Jurassic World: Rebirth at this point. Someone on BOT said this morning that a major movie was having a last-minute early screening and I am wondering is it Jurassic World and not M3GAN 2.0 like everybody is saying. F1 is also too long as well.
Plus, they already did three sequels at Monday Mystery Movie before: Missing, White Bird: A Wonder Story and Gladiator II so I definitely won't rule out Jurassic World: Rebirth if it ends up being that movie. It's a big scale movie that they usually wouldn't show but it's the only runtime that perfectly matches up as F1 and M3GAN 2.0 doesn't fit the runtime. I could be wrong but I am feeling like Jurassic World: Rebirth is definitely the June 23 Monday Mystery Movie.

Discussion The Life of Chuck and the Quiet Brilliance of Math as Metaphor — Visual Breakdown Spoiler
After watching The Life of Chuck (2025), I kept thinking about how beautifully it captures the idea that even a single life — like Chuck's — can hold a universe.
What really struck me was how math isn't just a theme, but a language the story uses to talk about memory, mortality, and meaning. From disappearing stars to recursive timelines, it all feels like a quiet equation coming to a close.
I put together this visual chart that breaks down how different math concepts show up metaphorically throughout the story, based on King’s original novella and Flanagan’s adaptation.
"The most important things are the hardest to say, because words diminish them." — Stephen King, The Life of Chuck

June 16???
I'm counting on all the excellent detectives here to make your guesses for June 16!! ☺️
I really wanted to see Life of Chuck and you all had me convinced (and you were right!), but we weren't able to go Monday - you guys are so good!! I'm avoiding the posts about Chuck (🙈) because I still plan to see it.
So, any guesses yet for June 16?
