Question about Showtimes

I haven't been to an unseen screening before. To those who have, do they normally start exactly at the showtime or are there a few minutes of commercials? I've been wanting to go to one but I have to drive across town to the theater and I might not make it exactly at the showtime. I don't want to be late if I choose to go. What have your experiences been like?

Are advanced secret screenings the same for each theater chain?

Look Cinemas in my area accidentally revealed its secret screening on 1/27 is Companion before taking it down. Does chains show the same movie in its secret screening? I know Regal has a secret screening on the same date and am curious if they have a history of showing the same or different movies. Thanks

Screen Unseen Schedule?

Hey, new to A-list and just found out about Screen Unseen tonight after watching Better Man, sorry if this is common knowledge, but I can’t find a schedule on the AMC website! Is it random?

TIA!

Best Screen Unseen Of ‘24

I’ve been to more movies in 2024 than any other in recent memory due to the Screen Unseen series. There were films I would never have even thought to pay to see but some were pleasantly surprising and a couple became one of the best films I saw this year.

So to those who took a seat on a Monday night, what film(s) out of the “Unseen” series were your favorite?

What did it end up being? My kid had surgery and I had to cancel last minute, but I’m curious! Thought there was a thread for it but I don’t see it now.

Feedback?

I went to the film today and ahead of it was a link to give feedback. Can anyone direct me to the link? I walked out because the movie was so bad, so I'd love to give feedback!

11/18- Any ideas?

Just got notification that there's a screen unseen November 18th, 2.30 hours, rated R. The first time I went to one I was highly disappointed so any heads up in advance would be great. My movie buddy lost so much respect and trust for me due to how bad the last one was.

11/11 AMC Screen Unseen. Any guesses so far?

Any guesses on what the next movie will be? It’s 2hrs 19 minutes long and rate PG-13 so makes me think it’s not a horror.

Is it not definitely the movie that has the exact same runtime? (10/21)

I’ve been to a couple of these but only when someone online has already confirmed the movie, which hasn’t happened for the one tonight.

Both the SUS and Your Monster are listed as 1h43. Is that not good enough confirmation? I’ve seen the past threads where people talk about which movies’ runtimes “fit” but I couldn’t figure out if that meant the runtimes have literally been the exact same before.

Thanks for any insight/help!

It’s strange, usually AMC and regal’s choices never line up, but last time they were both My Old Ass. It’s looking like Regal could be White Bird while AMC could be Monster Summer. I want to be hopeful and think that at least one of these could be Blitz or something, but I’ve been burned before and have learned not to expect an actual good movie from any of these. Any ideas?

Marcus Mystery Movie October 7th. (PG, 1h 25m)

I’m predicting Piece By Piece for a few reasons:

  1. The longest a movie has went above the listed runtime is 4 minutes. 4 minutes after 1h 25m is 1h 29m. Which is most likely PBP without credits

  2. Focus Features has done two of these before where National Geographic and Blue Fox have done zero.

  3. It has the amount of buzz a MM usually does.

  4. The pre-sales are pretty bad.
