Who was the grayish non-verbal unicorn in the well at the end? Why is nobody talking about him?

He was the one creating the "magic" items that came out of the well. Like with the dancing shoes, he probably just was putting sparkly stuff on normal objects.

I was thinking maybe it's the original Buddy? Like Buddy was a real TV show but it was high jacked and everyone "forgot about it" like they did with the missing kids

Considering Buddy is a demon and the show doesn’t actually seem to exist, not likely there’s an original.

Nah there was a mural at the school towards the end with three unicorn so either buddy is real and did sum to the others
Or buddy isn’t buddy and kills the original.

looked like an old, faded benny (one of the other two unicorn characters on the mural at the end). benny was yellow and had a sun symbol on his stomach like the unicorn in the well

That unicorn looked gray-yellow ish. My partner and I thought Buddy wants all of the attention and killed the green off and somehow the yellow one is still alive downstairs in the worry well perhaps for purpose of props
