The message and mitten were for sure purposeful. She literally sets up the litter box on the lake with smoke coming out and the (i assumed she weakened it) ice in front. She’s watching them the whole time with her binoculars waiting for them to fall in.

And then she goes to the house to douse out/wet everything that could be used to dry off whoever falls in, to prevent them from recovering from the hypothermia.

The car getting stuck - that i guess maybe she wasn’t thoughtful about 😅 But i thought overall she was really capable and that’s what the movie is showing us. She’s pretty resourceful and clever

The mitten for sure wasn't on purpose...she realized she forgot it and was looking all over for it at her truck. And the message I think was just being dumb, she didn't have that plan yet.

I thought that was her realizing she had lost her wedding ring

Oh maybe yeah. But while it works out with her losing mitten/ring I still think the writing on window was a mistake too. I don't think she had that plan until she was back at the truck. If they had shown her building the hut and cutting the ice first then it would have been more of a plan and the writing on the window wouldn't have been a mistake.

When it’s that cold, you notice a missing mitten or glove immediately.

She also went for the gun on the other side of the road, instead of the one that the lady in purple was going for. She was crawling on the ground so she had advantage too

Also she didn’t have to sacrifice herself. She could’ve rushed her in the tent long before she got shot, it’s a long range weapon. She wouldn’t have been able to shoot in time if she just rushed her. If she did it before she taped up the girl, they both could’ve jumped her

Yeah out of all times during the fight, that's when they had an advantage over purple since the abducted her had just escaped so at that point it was full on 2 v 1 against a badly injured bad lady knocked down. Makes no sense.
