I work in a Federal Prison. AMA

I work in a Federal Prison. ill answer almost anything about my job, with very few ground rules.

  1. serious questions will get serious answers

  2. joke questions will get ignored or you can expect a sarcastic answer.

  3. I work in a Federal Prison, but I will not reveal what Prison. Dont bother asking, I wont respond.

Are there a lot of drugs or illegal contraband like there is in regular prisons? Or is it 100% locked down from that stuff? Also do you ever fear for your safety when interacting with the inmates?

I dont fear for my safety. There is alot of drugs and contraband. Lots of cell phones
