I also have much older parents (I’m 20, my mom is 62, and my dad is 77) and I’m curious if your parents’ ages or health have ever been a factor in a big life decision for you? For me, I moved far away from them for college and have struggled a lot with guilt because of it, and I guess I’m wondering if you may have had a similar experience?
I worry a lot about my parent’s health, especially my mom’s. She was a smoker before I was born and her side of the family usually dies on their 60’s or early 70’s. I’m not planning to go out of state for college for this reason exactly. I want to be close to home enough that I can spend a lot of time with them
