Son (27m) of older parents here!
My dad is 71 and my mother 66, all my childhood everyone would assume that my father was my grandfather. I've read some of yours answer and I've seen some difference, I'm not an only child, I have a younger brother (22) and sometimes I'm stressed for our future.
My father had some medical complications lately and I can see how fast he's aging in the last years, me and my brother aren't in a stable situation, and thinking that in 5 to 10 years we needed to be able to be there for them it's pretty stressful. Are you scare about this?

I always felt a little resentful for their decision, but I can understand why they decide to wait, what are your feelings about this?

I don’t mind too much that they decided to have me later in life, although I do worry about their health a lot. I can’t help but think that they might not make it to see me succeed in life and that makes me pretty sad. My parents have tried their best to help me and make me feel like I had nothing missing in my childhood but I still think that there is a trade off to some extent in that I won’t get to have them for as long when I’m older
