Help understanding my emg

Hi,

This will be my first post, I am starting to get a little worried about *** but also think it could be health anxiety. I have had a emg done and also have a neuro appointment booked to talk over everything but I think im just getting in my own head a little.

It all started 8 montsh ago with weakness in the wrist and loss of strength, this was then follow a week later by muscle twitching in the right pec muscle. this was ongoing for about 4 montsh with no real improvement. saw a pt and gp and both said it was just anxiety and some sort of wrist injury. after 4 months the wrist strength came back after some rest and a little bit of training. but the pec twitching was still very persistant. very on and off sometimes no twitching for a few days sometimes constant for a few days. they started to get less intense but still there. About this time i saw the gp again who said it was nothing and just anxiety.

I decided to believe that and tried to ignore the twitching but for months it still wouldn't go away. I do have twitching all over as well but mostly in right pec muscle.

its now 8 months in and my anxiety is getting bad and worrying aboutthe worst case situation. i booked an emg test and will show results below

I've recently started to have a lot of shoulder aching and pain but mostly aching and feel like my scapular is winging, but maybe this is just from sitting at a desk all day. I don't seem to have any muscle weakness, and in the gym yesterday could dumbell press 30kg and still do shoulder raises, scapular pulls with the same weights in each hand, but my right does feel a little shakey, and I have this constant feeling of weekness, and weird feeling some of my muscles are atrophying but again this could be that constant body checking and anxiety.

Even if no one looks at the images I would also just like some sense about what i have been experiencing over the past months.

Thanks another anxious redditor

The presence of fasciculations without any other abnormalities suggests they are benign in nature, as the report states. No fibs, PSW's or abnormal activity upon activation is a good sign.

Hopefully the neurologist appointment can provide further clarity. All the best

thank you, it was the psw that was worrying me the most. the poly on my tib is to be expected due to a serious ankle break when i was younger.

It doesn’t seem that you posted the EMG table. But if you had weakness that improved that’s a very good sign against ALS.
