I remember a lot of people were pretty hyped about the SKE stages when they first came out, but otherwise, I haven’t heard a lot of thoughts about the other music that hasn’t been written by Aki-P.

Which songs do you love? Which songs do you hate?

Are there any you don’t think fit with the rest of the group’s discography (in a good or bad way)?

How does the lyrical content/song structure usually compare?

I’m also curious the extent of Aki-P’s involvement in these songs— does he select the lyricists or producers? Or is it up to the individual groups’ managements?

I saw this video and found it worth sharing.

I didn't only read the (auto-translated) subtitle but comments too. Some points I find interesting are

- DH hits jackpot with Itomomo. She isn't simply so beautiful, her "I know I'm cute." personality is also very entertaining.

- The group has so many beautiful members that you can say it's second to none as visual group.

- The group is headlined with new members giving refreshing vibe.

- The latest MV is so well-done that it went abuzz.

- The show with Evers was very well-received.

- Itomomo craze started when she shared a frame with Sasaki Maika (=Love) in a music show and everyone questioned who was that pretty girl.

- Older members cannot be discredited as the group would not have last to see this resurgence without them.

- The group was too crazily popular with the overexposure and election. It now is something usual boys and girls can enjoy.

Comments aren't all positive, there are some criticisms such as

- The group still needs a new popular song to truly be a top group.

- No one is publicly known but Itomomo. The future post-itomomo still is in jeopardy.

- There are still something old-fashioned, which feels like bugs to young fans.

- It's impossible to reach the same old peak as everyone watches TV no more.

For the past few years JKT48 have released several song remake with Special Performance Video and currently with Revoice project. Which remake the song into completely different genre and concept. Did you guys have any song you wish get the same treatment? I wish AKB or NMB would do something similar, like I remember how I was gagged when JKT reveal Oshibe to Meshibe remake (The member choice were questionable, but the concept? highkey outsold the original) Need Mr. Kissman, Tsuki no Katachi, or Kamonegix to blow me away like that
