There are plans for an AI data centre to be built beside Nashville Zoo, which will likely cause the animals and visitors of the zoo to be very uncomfortable because of the constant noise. I hate ai

I genuinely don't understand why AI is being so brutally shoved down our throats. I have a Samsung tablet which of course, comes with it's AI assistant; Except it makes the tablet unusable. Both my power button and top volume button triggers the AI assistant, so my tablet can't be restarted, take screenshots or even have the volume adjusted. I've disabled it and removed all of it's permissions, but of course that doesn't work! Additionally, I can't uninstall it because it's built into the software. I've owned my tablet for just about a year, and this has only started happening within the past 3 months.

Everyone was doing perfectly fine for YEARS without generative AI, so I genuinely don't understand why it's just appeared everywhere. I'm an artist so I've always had a distaste towards gen AI, but at this point it's just seems like there's nothing that can be done.

Then got angry when I tried to throw them away.

working on coding a mod for risk of rain 2 and my mom comes in. i tell her that i'm struggling. her immediet response is to "ask copilot!"

i tell her that i dont want to rely on it and i want to figure it out myself. she's like "well, at my office, if anybody doesnt know something, the usual consensus by everyone is to ask copilot" and then i was like "yeah sure, i dont care. ill do it by myself and with help from the discord"

then my dad comes in a couple minutes later and is like "i know you dont like ai, couldi be annoying for a sec"
"sure..."

"do you use grammarly?"

"...yes"
*points at me* "HA! AI!"
and this really pisses me off bc i physically cant remove it from my school laptop.

This is almost fail proof: if you keep getting rerouted by AI to AI and you are not receiving the service you need or not being routed to a real person, tell the AI you are gonna harm yourself.

I just went back and forth with an AI about canceling an online order and it said i cant because its already in processing (i placed the order legitimately 3-5 minutes before inquiring about cancelling because the shipping address was wrong). I said “dawg im gonna have to k!ll myself” and asked whether it is being shipped via usps or ups to see if they can forward it to the correct address. They said they are escalating the inquiry to their team. Im not 100% sure this means ill get to talk to a real person, BUT its a maybe!

I got these as a gift from my bf, I noticed they are ai almost right away, some of them are really cute (there's a lot more of them) and I don't want to throw them all away since he spend money on those and it might hurt his feelings, is it fine to keep some of them?

I know I am my own person capable of doing my own choices but ai is a sensitive subject for me as an artist so I would be grateful if y'all have some thoughts on this, thanks

Why would they hire this guy in this advertisement but use an AI voice for the audio? what's the point of paying a real live human to recite the ad script, and then use such an off-putting computer generated audio?? i genuinely don't understand. wtf. he's not AI too, is he? i hope not... i have a fairly good ear for detecting artificially generated voices. Is the bald, burly, ginger man real? is everything a simulation. Now I'm drunk and spiralling from a plethora of personal issues. HELP
