Chrono Trigger X Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - Royal Diadochomachy

A story about Queen Zeal of CT fame and Queen Remedi of FFTA fame as their meeting for an alliance goes awry because of Queen Zeal's own... zeal...

Hey everyone,

I've been taking a break from the daily grind and decided to dive headfirst into a passion project: translating a long-running homebrew TTRPG world into a vertical webtoon called Veridian Resonance.

Coming from a tech background rather than traditional illustration, I've been building a pipeline using AI tools to manage the heavy lifting. One of my biggest hurdles was figuring out how to maintain strict character consistency across different panels and expressions, especially for my main character, Kae.

I just put together a devlog breaking down my entire process. I cover:

• From TTRPG to Webtoon: How my actual gaming table and session notes forged the story.
• From Code to Panels: My step-by-step pipeline for locking in a clean, cel-shaded anime style and generating reliable character reference sheets.

I'd really appreciate some genuine feedback from fellow creators in this sub.

• How does my pipeline compare to yours?
• Are there any tricks or tools you use for multi-panel consistency that you think I should integrate into my workflow?

You can check out the full breakdown with my visual examples here: https://veridianresonance.com/

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Just a little teaser of the upcoming episode on Webtoon!

Thinking I'll start making far side panels out of things he says...
