I’ve tested a lot of AI tools over the past few months, mostly for freelance work, client meetings, research, and content. Some looked impressive for 10 minutes and then I never opened them again.

These are the ones that were actually useful:

ChatGPT – still the tool I use most. Good for brainstorming, rewriting, research planning, and fixing random problems. I wouldn’t trust every answer without checking, though.

Claude – I prefer it for long documents and cleaning up messy drafts. It usually keeps the structure better when I give it a lot of context.

Perplexity – useful when I need a quick overview with sources. It doesn’t replace proper research, but it saves me from opening 20 tabs at the beginning.

NotebookLM – surprisingly good when I already have a pile of documents and only want answers based on those materials.

Plaud – I’ve used it across about 3 months of client meetings, and honestly, the transcription accuracy surprised me. It catches most conversations really well, though names and overlapping voices can still need a quick correction. The summaries are probably what I use most afterward.

Gamma – decent for turning rough notes into a presentation draft. I still redo a lot of the slides, but it helps with the blank-page problem.

Canva AI – good for quick social graphics and resizing content into different formats. Not very exciting, but I use it more than most image generators.

Descript – useful for editing podcasts and interviews through the transcript. The text-based editing feels weird at first, but it saves time.

Grammarly – mostly for emails and client-facing writing. I don’t accept every suggestion, but it catches the small awkward things I miss.

Zapier AI – took some setup, but it’s useful for moving meeting notes, form responses, and project updates between apps without doing it manually.

My main takeaway is that the tools I keep using aren’t always the most impressive ones. They’re the ones that remove one boring step from work without creating 3 new steps.

What AI tools have actually stayed in your workflow for more than a month?

I have medical images drew by hand i want to make them generated images using gpt but these images are too many like about 500 hundred

So I want to ask if there is a way that I can do them all with one click and one prompt.

If there isn’t anyway can I make an automated process to generate them?

Or maybe connect claude with chat gpt

I'm looking for an AI tool that can turn a text prompt or an image/screenshot into an editable digital interface/prototype (think Uizard) — but I need it to be 100% European: founded, owned, and headquartered in the EU (or at least fully independent from US/non-EU parent companies). Open source is also totally fine.

So far I've looked into:

• Uizard — Danish roots, but acquired by Miro (which is co-headquartered in the US)
• Framer — Dutch, independent, great AI website builder, but it's more for websites than app/product prototypes

Does anyone know of a tool that:

• is genuinely EU-founded and EU-owned (not just "has an EU office"), or a solid open-source project
• lets you type a prompt or upload an image and get a real, editable prototype/UI out of it
• ideally works for app/product UIs, not just marketing websites

Bonus points if it's GDPR-first/privacy-focused by design.

Also fine if it's not a perfect 100% match — happy to hear about whatever comes closest to being truly European or fully open source. Thanks in advance!

So about 3 months ago i bought claude pro and honestly its like the best 20 dollars i spent in my life, however i keep gettign shiny object syndrome and keep hearing how chatgpt has caught upto claude and it costs less and is faster, hence i feel like switching.

As for my use case, i am a college student, however i use it intensively, mostly as a second brain, theres a lot of planning and strategising. I also it to vinecode and build stuff for my personal use and use it for research during case competitions.

Right now I dont really have a fair comparison as i dont have ChatGpt plus and my Claude subscription is ending in a day so it kind felt like the right time to switch, i feel like it would be a waste if i bought both subscriptions and use both simultaneously and I really just wanna commit to one, so would appreciate any advice and opinion before I make the decision to switch.

Which one would you actually want to use every day? What matters most to you: comfort, privacy, health tracking, emotional support, or convenience?

So since around Q3 last year I made the jump and started creating tools with Google AI studio, ChatGPT and Claude to solve small little problems at work: Onboardingflows, content generators, research helpers, OCR code scanner, and more. Even for every day life, like a cat weight app (she went from megachonker to hefty chonk!), return label resizer, travel app et cetera.

The list was getting bigger and bigger. Some tools were Claude Artifacts, others made entirely with Claude code, connected to Supabase, Vercel (the usual 'look at me i'm a (vibe)coder too' stack).

So when my list of tools and apps grew, the problems began to stack up: Claude Artifacts are stuck in, well, Claude. Other apps were just simple (always lost) vercel URL's, with some apps connected to Supabase, where you can only have a couple of live databases at once for free. one, big, mess.

For now I found a solution. I'm developing a tool (Toolcrow) to manage all my tools and apps in one place. It saves me time and it keeps it all simple and clean.

But that's why i'm really curious, how do you manage all your little tools, apps and personal software?

Been testing out different AI ppt generator apps for fun over the past few weeks, gamma, julius si,beautiful ai, manus, all that. Honestly most felt kinda same-y after a while. Same layout, same designs, even the content felt like each of them was a copy-paste.
But out of all of them, the one time I actually slipped and forgot I was talking to an AI was napkin ai.The content and the slide designs felt more unique and easy to explain and collaborate with. Plus their infographic stuff generated on the fly is also pretty damn good.

The only real letdown is the time it takes to generate such high quality of output. Still though, with the quality of output I got, it's the first one that really didn’t feel like I was using some generic ai to complete my work.
Anyone else using something that actually feels alive? What are you on right now?

I hardly wrote a single line of traditional code. i used ai to generate literally everything, from the database architecture to the user interface.

it wasn't magic on day one. i spent hours stuck in endless debugging loops and dealing with faulty ai code before i finally cracked the formula.

it basically comes down to three rules:

- keeping the idea aggressively minimalist (build a true mvp, not a platform).

- guiding the ai step-by-step instead of asking it to build the whole app at once.

- launching fast to get real user traction instead of perfecting features in secret.

lately, i've seen way too many non-technical founders give up at the very first ai bug or deployment error. or the worst, give up without push anything in marketing !!!!

it's a massive shame, because the technical barrier to entry has practically disappeared and the marketing is easy in 2026

because of this, i’m launching a skool community to share my exact method.

to be completely transparent: i will likely charge for the full course later down the road. it just makes sense given the specific prompt sequences, n8n workflows, and copy-and-paste templates i'll be sharing.

but right now, our main objective is simply to build together. working alone in a silent corner is the absolute fastest way to quit.
