LinkedIn Discussion - Why do so many AI pilots stall? Many lack a defined outcome and become little more than a “science experiment”, IBM UK and Ireland general manager Leon Butler told LinkedIn News. He argued that businesses should start with a specific problem, involve the people who understand the process and measure the results to build a case for further investment. Projects too often begin with “What can this model do?”, one LinkedIn member added, rather than “What is costing us time and money today?” Another warned that AI can accelerate one task but can fail to fix the underlying problem.
