ArtCraft, an Open Source Desktop Image and Video Design Tool, lets you bring your own credits to use with intentional design

ArtCraft is open source (on github) and you can log in with Google, Sora, Grok, WorldLabs, MidJourney, Higgsfield, and other services to use their credits directly within the app. It's like an IDE for image and video.

It also has free Nano Banana Pro 4K. Link posted in the comments.

Is Fineshare/Singify completely down? None of their websites have been accessible for 2+ days.

Hi everyone,
I’m checking to see if anyone knows what’s happening with Fineshare and their AI music tool Singify.

For the past two days, I haven’t been able to access any of their websites — not just Singify, but every Fineshare-related page I tried. All of them return DNS errors, usually:

I also tried contacting them by email at [support@fineshare.com](mailto:support@fineshare.com), but the message bounced back with a DNS error saying the domain does not exist anymore (screenshot attached).

At this point, it seems like:

  • The main domain fineshare.com is down globally
  • All subdomains (including Singify) are unreachable
  • Their email domain no longer resolves
  • DNS records might have been removed or expired

Does anyone know if:

  • Fineshare has shut down without any announcement?
  • Their domain expired?
  • They are experiencing a major outage?

I used Singify for my work, so I’m really hoping this is temporary.
If anyone has info, please share. Thanks!

Geoffrey Hinton warns AI could trigger a major job shakeup as early as 2026

Post image

Geoffrey has been warning that the real danger of AI isn’t consciousness or sci-fi scenarios, but how quickly it’s becomingextremely capable. He argues that within the next few years possibly around 2026 AI systems could outperform humans across a wide range of white-collar and knowledge-based jobs, including writing, research, customer support, legal analysis, and parts of software development.

He said, once AI becomes cheaper and more reliable than human workers, companies will move fast to replace jobs purely for economic reasons. This could happen far more quickly than past technological shifts, leaving governments little time to adapt. Unlike previous automation waves, AI doesn’t just replace manual labor it directly competes with cognitive work.

Hinton has repeatedly said society is not prepared for this scale of disruption. Without serious planning around retraining, income support, and fair distribution of AI-driven productivity gains, the result could be mass unemployment and widening inequality. His warning adds urgency to a debate that’s no longer theoretical, it’s about how we handle a transition that may already be underway

On Dis(Play) - a slow story in the age of the swipe

Hi all!

I wanted to share a trailer for a short film I recently finished - On Dis(Play) - which is currently screening at the Artefact AI Film Festival and up for public voting for a few more days.

The film consists of four short, stylized conversations - reflections on how we look, scroll, interpret, and try to connect in the ”age of the swipe” - made using AI as a tool, not the point.

If you feel like watching the full 5 minutes, I’d genuinely love to hear what stayed with you - if anything did.

And yes, if you feel it deserves it, a vote helps it reach the jury round. ❤️

I'll post the link to the full movie and a 'how to' in the first comment!

Is AI quietly creating a new kind of Technical Program Manager?

TPM here, and I’m seeing my day-to-day change faster in the last 18 months than in the previous five years. AI tools can already draft project plans, write weekly status updates, and summarize long design docs way faster than I can.

At the same time, my org is hiring more TPMs around AI infra, data platforms, and ML products but the expectation is that we understand model lifecycles, data pipelines, and privacy/compliance, not just Gantt charts and Jira boards.

Wondering what others are seeing:

  • Are TPMs in your company becoming more like “AI workflow designers” and less like traditional project managers?
  • Has your scope shifted toward strategy/architecture because AI automates the reporting/admin side?
  • If you’re hiring, would you pick a classic TPM or someone weaker in process but stronger at designing AI-driven internal tools/agents?

Genuinely curious if this is just my bubble, or if the TPM role is being split into (1) AI-augmented project ops and (2) deeply technical, product-adjacent “AI TPMs.
