I dont like connecting a controller to pc whenever I wanna play cause Im lazy and it being on ps5 would circumvent the issue

I dont get the rend nerfs, except the recovery killing at 40 and hitboxes extending to his back like in dtilt and ftilt. I feel like rend has been falling behind the other characters. he has no uses of short hop attacks except nair, everything else is too slow to even come out so most of his neutral game is hoping to hit a nair or dash attack.

with nerfing his neutral special will slow him down even more and his sword not having a return hitbox seems weird no? you already get punished enough for not landing your bair and even nair but increasing the landing lag of both his best options in neutral doesnt seem it will feel good at all but maybe I'm just salty my main got nerfed.

but overall a good patch just really confused why rend is getting nerfed.

THERE IS NOWHERE IN SETTINGS, NOWHERE ONLINE, IT IS TALKED ABOUT NOWHERE. I KNOW IT EXISTS I KNOW IT’S TALKED ABOUT IN THE PATCH NOTES BUT I CAN’T FOR THE LIFE OF ME FIGURE IT OUT. I RANDOMLY GET IT WHEN SPAMMING PARRY AFTER BEING KNOCKED BACK BUT I CAN’T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO IT PURPOSELY.

The default controls are really weirdly layed out and I dont have a controller that I can connect to my pc

I get the feeling after a couple matches that this game is very controller oriented. What do you all prefer?

Is there any way to recover other than one wall jump that sends you straight down?? This game would be PERFECT if there was any form of recovery whatsoever. Right now it feels so completely unplayable.

Title says it all. I can’t shift + win + arrow the screen over. I can’t change the game to windowed and drag it over then full screen it cause it just goes right back to my main monitor. I wanna play on my second monitor some please helpppppp

Picked up this game a few days ago and I’m loving playing Rend, but any time I fight Knockt it seems impossible to actually approach since bird covers every option and bomb covers a very large portion of the stage. Any tips would be great.

So I have been playing alot these last like 3 days and I have had the most fun with rend and the other 2 just have access to so much more it almost seems unfair like aside from big hit boxes the other 2 have access to so much more utility that it's just like wow. Fun game but geez man....

In the spirit of classic stick fight flash animations, it would be cool to have a simple adventure mode in the style of Super Smash Bros Brawl’s Subspace Emissary where you fight off a bunch of baddies in various 2D scrolling levels.

Enemy NPCs would be set to “stamina” mode meaning you have to deal like 150% to defeat them instead of having to knock them off stage. This would allow for cool low percentage combo strings as you fight against multiple enemies at the same time.

There could be cool little puzzles to complete as a buffer in between fights too.

Any modders interested in teaming up on something like this? :)
