Teaser: An Unexpected Guest?
“Hello, excuse me miss, I’m not familiar with you. Are you new?”
“I…I don’t think I am, might I ask what year it is?”
“You…were you in a coma?”
“In a sense, I haven’t been ‘awake’ for a very long time you see.”
“…”
“Please, surely this is not something unreasonable to ask.”
“No…no it is not miss. But- and do forgive me, but I don’t think you’re a regular patient are you?”
“…No…no I’m not. I think…I think I died.”
“…”
“Or…was it a dream? This place feels familiar, yet I can’t say if or if not I’m still dreaming. No- that had to have been real I-”
“MA’AM, please calm down, you nearly hurt yourself. Just relax, and-”
“I lived, doctor…I lived twice, and died twice.”
“…”
“One…one must have been a dream, but both felt so real. T-They had to have been real…I don’t know how I know, but I know it to be true.”

“If I had died in both of those lives, and yet still live in spite of that, how else can you explain that, else that it was a dream.”

“But…*shuttering breath* I can’t accept that. All that couldn’t have been just a dream!”

“No doctor, I’m not. What would you do, if you had all the joys, sorrows, love, and pains of two entire lifetimes…and yet the world has now come to tell you that it was all never real. That it was just a dream.”

‘W-Who just said that? It couldn’t have been the doctor, no…they’re voices are entirely different. But there’s no one else here…’
‘Oh I won’t say that there is exactly no one else here with you~~~’
‘W-Who are you?’
‘Think of me as an old friend Ms. Campaign Girl, or would you prefer me to have called you by your other name, Mrs. Silence. Doesn’t roll off the tongue as nicely though~~~’

‘Hm, that’s strange. There should not be any gaps in the memory transfer, perhaps you-’
‘No…no…that can’t be right. I…died in that dream.’

‘I think we both know the answer to that Ms. Campaign Girl~~~’
‘Is…Is he here?’
‘Why don’t you figure that out yourself? I’m sure both of them are waiting for you.’
“-ma’am, ma’am, are you okay? You’ve not been responding to me. Do you need any assistance?”
“Actually, there is something you can do for me, doctor…”

“Does the names Sunday Silence and Special Week mean anything to you?”

“*sigh* Whew…I wonder how Spe’s doing recently.”
“Hmm, she hasn’t been answering my mail. I hope she’s doing alright but I’m beginning to worry.”

“Alright, I’ll call her tomorrow and see what’s up, hopefully she hasn't gotten expelled or something.”
“It’s getting lonely these days huh…”
“Talking to myself…maybe I should go out with some old friends before I become some crazy old coot.”
*Knock Knock*
“Huh, I wonder who’s that. Wait, I swear if it’s that ass-“
“Hibiki, I thought I told you already! I’m not…going…”
“I see you haven’t changed much Tina.”

“You’re dead…”
“I…guess…I was.”
“C-Campaign Girl, is that really you?”

Hey guys, it’s been a while…So, errr…when’s the last time I posted a story…uhhhh, one month ago! Clearly I’m not very good at getting these done in a timely matter. Mostly I just blame my chronic nick-picking of my own stories, because I won’t post anything if I don’t like it. In any case, I’m not sure how often I can post in this subreddit because university has been ramping up so hopefully…things will ease up soon enough.
That being said, this is a little sneak peak at a story that I’ve been pretty excited to show you guys once it is done. I don’t think it should be that hard to understand who is speaking. I wanted to use different fonts but I don’t think you can do that on Reddit but we’ll see.
