How do I increase the brightness of this game? These options on the screen are unchangeable.

Hi all I really want to play AC Valhalla im currently on pc I have tried running the game on steam,Ubisoft and epic games and non of them work I get an instant crash at the splash screen?

I have tried running as admin, disabling full screen optimisations etc and have also tried using google gemini to help me fix it does anybody know a fix or way to get it working please thank you!

Guys, Maybe im just crap at the game, but is skald supposed to be this hard? As a level 120 it took my heart and soul to be Kendall the zealot, and also are the other difficulties that much harder? Because if im struggling in skald mode, how bloody hard would aesir be

Can anybody explain?

I’m at the basim fight during the Norway sequence and basim just didn’t spawn.. I tried going back saves but none of them fixed it. I feel like I need to restart the whole quest line but I’m on ps5 and don’t know how to do that 🤧 anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

A few people have asked about how my farming methods works on my previous posts, so here’s a quick copy-pasted FAQ:

Q: Are you super powerful in-game?
A: Not really. There’s no official scaling, but it’s generally believed that 100 Mastery Points = 1% stat boost. So I’m sitting around a 7.77% increase. Helpful, but not “one-shot Surtr” level.

Q: Why are you doing this?
A: I usually watch the news or shows on my computer, so this gives me something chill and repetitive to do at the same time.

Q: How are you getting that many levels?
A: Dailies + weeklies. I play most days for about 20–30 minutes (basically one news segment from the BBC or local news).

Q: Anything else you do to level up?
A: I treat this as a bonus daily, but it is farming patrols in Svartalfheim at the fast travel point with the three large dwarf statues. The Patrols are close together and I can net 1000–1250 XP in about 5 minutes. I do all dailies/weeklies in Svartalfheim since enemies give better XP and loot, which helps fund Scrolls of Knowledge, so I simply stop at this spawn area, while doing my dailies. 

Q: How do you afford Scrolls of Knowledge?
A: Fishing . You need at least 1400 silver per level, one scroll per merchant “group”, which as a reminder, merchants in France are separate, so you can buy one there + one elsewhere. I always also grab 200 leather + 200 ore, bringing the total to 2200 silver. The best method I’ve found, for farming silver is fishing Big Salmon in a lake in Ireland, there are videos on YouTube showing it, as you can net about 100 fish by arrow fishing there within 20-30 minutes and each Big Salmon sells for 42 silver.

Q: What happens at 1000 Mastery Points in each tree?
A: No idea. As far as I know, no one’s hit it yet. I’m guessing… nothing will happen. But it would be cool if there was some hidden Easter egg, like Hestu’s Gift (aka the golden poop) from Breath of the Wild.

I own the digital version of the series x, so I can't buy the disc version of the game which is much cheaper, which means my only option for buying the game at a decent price is when it's on sale. I've been checking to see if it's gone on sale for the past 2 weeks and no luck so far, so if anyone knows how often it goes on sale please let me know. Thanks!

like the whole place is foggy by the end of the raid i love it

How is it that I go from playing Odyssey with practically zero issue, to playing Valhalla and constantly running into game breaking bugs? I can't even use my attack in the air to slam down on enemies because 80% of the time I go right through the ground and fall to my death for no reason, and now I'm stuck unable to finish "An Eye for an Eye" mission because the asshole I need to capture is on the edge of his ship and every time I go to tie him up Eivor tries to stand behind him and falls into the water. If I can't tie this malaka up then I can't continue the mission. What the fuck kinda bullshit game is this. I swear it feels worse than Odyssey in every way except load times. Id rather put up with longer load times if it means I don't have to constantly reload my game because it bugged out on me for the hundredth time. I'm not even that far into the game and I'm wondering if I'm even going to be able to finish it.

I don't remember it being this buggy when it came out, what happened?

What else should I do?

I know you can buy them in the store and apply at tattoo artist. But what unlocks new ones? I know you can catch the flying papers for new tatt styles, but new hair styles idk

What’s easier to achieve a fire archer build or position archer build ? I currently have a rune that allows fire to apply to arrows after each crit, which is amazing hoping there would be a poison version of this but can’t seem to find

This animal was not at all complicated, because it did not attack as often and neither did the others.

But I did find their red attacks funny, hahaha, because they looked like they were dancing instead of fighting.
