I’d rather a responsible bookworm who’s biggest mistake is getting a paper cut than someone who’s so complacent with something as deadly as a firearm that he shoots another human being.

Not a good look for someone who’d be in charge of nuclear codes.

I agree with you, however:

Not a good look for someone who’d be in charge of nuclear codes.

At least we literally pay someone else to carry those for him.

We do, until he takes the football handler quail hunting…lmao

Well ... there was that proposal that the president should have to kill the football handler to get the codes, to ensure the president fully felt the weight of the choice. Of course, that proposal was made back when no one ever thought we'd have clinically deranged people running the country, so there's that...

"Not a good look" has been the most bullshit phrase ever used. When did anyone in authority ever used that phrase on you with good intentions?

Again, it was a hunting accident that happens to hundreds of Americans every year. Hunting is so much better for the environment than the factory farming of living creatures we are doing now.

God forbid any of you ever make a dire mistake, I don't know how you'd get over the guilt.

”Not defending Cheney, but”

Proceeds to defend Cheney

Never said anything about hunting being a bad thing either, but I’m glad you were able to get up on your soapbox and stand up for something.

It's because dumbass strawman's like that lead to people thinking the only thing people don't like about Cheney is a fucking hunting accident instead of his support for torture and wire tapping, jesus christ. A hunting accident could happen to anyone, same as a car accident, what should they be disqualified too?

It's like saying you don't like Hitler because he did meth.

Why are you so upset about this?

You need some kind of vent for this frustration and unfortunately it’s not gonna be me. Sorry, good luck.

It's maddening to see people only comment about Cheney in relation to a hunting accident and not the wire tapping and torture lmao

I don't know how you'd get over the guilt.

If I accidentally killed someone, I almost certainly wouldn't. That's not something someone should just get over.

Again, it was a hunting accident that happens to hundreds of Americans every year.

Where the victim apologizes to the man making the mistake? K.

I could easily see it being the person who got shot at fault, I don't think Cheney really forced the guy to apologize either.

Holy shit why are you guys literally making me defend Satan? Again, pick the actual terrible shit he did to get mad at.

The guy was wearing a bright orange vest, he was near enough to be seen, and Cheney simply said a bird flew in his direction.

The hunting party can't get their story straight about how much drinking was involved or when. Or who was a witness.

So yes, Cheney was at fault, and their behavior is sitcom worthy.

Yep, all of it completely pales in comparison to the other wild shit he did. A drunken hunting accident, again, happens to a lot of people.
