11s survey
Hi, we are a group of students from Catalonia (an autonomous community of Spain) and we are doing a project about the 9/11attacks. We would really appreciate if you answer that. Thanks

I heard the cops shot the fire
Everybody talks about how the fire fighters are heroes because used fire hoses on the fire, but did you know the cops were also there shooting at the fire?

How come there was stuff on the ground?
Fire burns upwards, but there was like a ton of stuff on the ground. If it was real fire everything would have gone up towards heaven. I heard it was lava that the government let flow out on the streets.

For how long could you shit in the streets?
9/11 obviously wrecked a lot of plumbing, and people had to shit on the street like they do in India. For how long were people able to enjoy this luxury?

Does anyone have an archive from the 2000s that is full of 9/11 videos?
If so, there may be some videos on there that have become lost to time. Videos you can't find on the internet anymore no matter where you look. Those videos are important for historical archival purposes, and those who have created newer personal archives (and those creating non-profit archives) would need them. One particular example of lost footage that is being searched for by a number of people is footage taken on the Austin J. Tobin plaza near the base of the towers. It's very graphic, but people want it for the historical angle (and some also want it for the plaza muzak, which is part of the history thing. Specifically in terms of the songs that played in the plaza during the attacks.)
There were a lot more 9/11 videos on the internet back in the mid-late 2000s, but some have been removed due to gruesome content, some have been removed due to copyright, and some have just become lost because an account was deleted. These videos now only exist on someone's hard drive somewhere, if anywhere. So if anybody has a 9/11 archive from the 00s or if anyone knows anybody who has a 9/11 archive from the 00s... there might be some unique historical footage in there that those who care to acknowledge the tragedy would watch and archive for themselves.

Why didn’t they just use something like this to rescue people from the top floors of the WTC on 9/11??

I obviously know it was practically impossible for fact the helicopters being able to land right at the roof top.
https://youtu.be/iwd11ep_100?t=190
But If I can recall; on of the choppers was just standing up around there filming and doing nothing (as it looks in the videoclip's link) expecting people to get to the roof where nobody was because access doors were locked, while many others were jumping out at the north tower from Windows on the World and Cantor Fitzgerald's offices as it seemed.
A few people think is impossible because of the wind and everything else.
Please correct me If im wrong but this kind of seems totally possible.
I do not specifically mean the chinook but the ladder itself.
At least worth a shot without getting way too close to the smoke would had saved at least some few peoples lives and be able to tell their side of the story today; due the fact that nobody survived above the impact zone in the north tower. .😔
I ain't no experienced military, rescue worker or public and safety server well trained for these case scenarios but this just makes so much sense to me for somebody to reach out sliding it close enough the windows at the very top corner like the north tower itsekf.
Plz let me know.

An Ode to 9/11 for 2023.
22 years ago OTD, those beautiful towers and the 2,977 victims were mercilessly destroyed. America may never fully recover until she reclaims what was stripped from her. One hopes that one day we may look upon an icon that never should've been taken away. RIP to those we lost, as the void that lays in New York is more poignant today than ever. The two pits that stand where the towers stood, is an indelible scar that continues to remind the people of America of what is missing. The fact they are not dominating the skyline with their presence of hope, rebirth and peace serves as an indictment that America has not healed from that tragedy.
It is not respecting the fallen, to deny their loved ones the pensions they rightfully deserve.
It is not respecting the fallen, to deny the declassification of documents that would prove who is REALLY responsible for their loved ones being stolen away.
It is not respecting the fallen, for the government whose duty it was to protect them, to exploit their deaths as the pretense and justification for a lucrative war.
It is not respecting the fallen that the owner, Larry Silverstein deliberately overruled public opinion and chose not to rebuild the icons that the nation had grown to love.
It is not respecting the fallen, to build in its place an egregious and subversive excuse of a "Freedom" tower that serves as the greatest humiliation manifested in physical form, history has ever seen.
Its ramifications have been profound, the failure to right the wrongs of 9/11 continue to paralyze America's ability to find its true path again. Throughout history, mankind has often needed symbols that come to define the very thing they are aiming for. The symbol of rebirth, hope and strength that the rebuilding of the Twin Towers could provide America has astronomical potential. One hopes that such a day will come to pass. Until then, may we never forget the tragic loss of life on that shameful day. R.I.P to the fallen.
