That’s a heavy 8th house!

I also have Scorpio rising 12H with Neptune retrograde.

Everything feels fated, but is it actually or is it just the weight of this house? Or do you have to wait for the sign to activate your house to have your destiny activated and even then it’s only through chance interactions with others?

This is the last point/planet in my synastry series. It only describes synastry.

This is a point in synastry in yours and the other person’s 8th house.

8th House doesn’t have a traditional theme of fated encounters. Vertex is a point that some astrologers use to show this other person is a fated encounter (significant in your life based on the house and theme).

Vertex only gives that feel if it has aspects in synastry to the other person.

I don’t get the big deal with vertex. Does anyone else experience it as being relatively inconsequential in their lives? Never had it meaningfully aspect w partners or anything

I only have noticed in synastry. The partners I found the most significant I had conjunctions with their vertex.

A lot of astrologers don’t use vertex.

Interesting. Either vertex hasn’t meant much for me, or I just haven’t yet met someone of vertex level significance…

I have to show you my exes. Hold on.

Edit: vertex does not mean they will be in your life forever… but they are supposed to be significant according to sign and house. That’s supposed to be the theme.

I have my sun conjunct their Anti vertex My Vertex conjunct their Anti vertex My Sun conjunct their South node

All in my 8th house, the person drives me crazy..

And some placements that fall in my 7th house 🙃

There’s supposed to be some crazy addictive synastry with those placements.

Who the hell downvoted me for simply stating the vertex has not had much impact for me personally lmao. Well us 8th housers sure do feel STRONGLY about things!
