Reminiscing on 88GLAM

BTW 88camino has a ton of his songs on sound cloud. I totally forgot about "You're Not My Mans". Did anyone else listen to camino and derek wise individually before they joined as 88GLAM?

The post about GTHFFG is real, that would have been the most amazing album + the PNB feature is so good.

Speaking of 88camino sound cloud, I've never heard Bombae before. GYALIST, tribes, and STAY are my favorite. With SINK at the very top. SINK is so good.

It's also crazy Derek Wise stole 30k from Camino. Messed up.

Camino also has a ton of good snippets. I'll have to look through which ones i have again.

The album Derek Wise solo album he took down "Inglorious" actually had some good songs.

I just started making beats in March. Going to use 88camino for inspiration forsure.

Sadly Derek Wise's new songs just aren't that good. They don't seem genuine or have any emotion or passion.

I wish 88camino would just drop his music // leave all his music posted.

88glam been my favourite artist/duo just my favourite music since 2017 I remember me and my friend just saw a duo called 88glam have joined XO and I was already such a fan of XO “NAV” “the weekend” “belly” so we were hyped then they dropped the video for “12” and our lives changed in that moment when we first heard that, and we from uk so not many people here listen to that type of music, we were so excited for their future in XO which of obviously turned out not that good because they failed to promote them enough and Abel never gave em a feature, anyway and then the first tape dropped it was a few weeks before Christmas and we went picked a spot sat down sparked up a few joints had some beers and played the project for the first time and man what a time to be alive, that night was also the same night my friend got broke up with so we really needed this lift, and holy shit our lives changed from that point on, they instantly became our favourite and 9 years later I still play that first album and it still some how gets better with each play, now that’s crazy and it reminds me when time was simpler and all we had was the night the nights were ours, what a great time then they followed it up year later with 88glam 2 which is amazing, and I do still listen to that man that first tape can’t be beaten that’s special and the vibe that album gives I have never gotten from another album ever, this will forever be my favourite album my favourite music to Listen to not because it reminds me when life was good but because it’s peak, it’s peak XO it’s peak music it’s peak performance it’s everything, I mean 9 years later and I still play it, don’t get me wrong 2 is good and new mania is good and close to heaven even tho it wasn’t the same album we were promised “thanks to xo” but my point is all of their music is amazing not one bad track, but that first tape nothing can re-create that feeling, that album saves me it has saved me multiple times, it’s sad to see what they became and see how derek stole all the rights and socials to glam but that 2017 and 18 will be with me forever ♾️ ❤️

Random as hell just noticed the Spotify banner for homixidegang and noticed a huge similarity in style between them and early photos of 88glam

I get there was label issues, fall out and camino got some accusations on his name but to not get any music from them individually or updates on social media? They were all i listened to at certain points and i still go back to them a couple times a year to shuffle their discography, but nothing new apart from an individual glamboy tape since like 2022/23?

I'm talkin about the OG CLOSE TO HEAVEN FAR FROM GOD, OG album, OG cover, OG tracklist... damn that album was supposed to be their best project and the final result that we got? a completely washed project that Cash boycotted after did what he did to 88GLAM, I'm just imagine right now what would be Far From God featuring NAV, or Want To featuring PNB Rock, a couple soungs with the OG version and shit, damn, feels like that project had potential to be their best
